LESSON PLAN IN PLASTIC BOTTLE CAP PAINTING

I. OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the activity, the students will be able to:


A. Knowledge: Identify what a watercolor bottle bottom printing looks like.
B. Skills: Create beautiful artwork with the use of empty plastic bottle.
C. Affective: Initiate creativeness in making watercolor plastic bottle bottom
printing.

II. SUBJECT MATTER


Topic: Arts (Watercolor Plastic Bottle Bottom Printing)
Materials: Vellum, Poster Paint/Watercolor, Paint Brush, Empty Plastic Bottles, Cotton
buds

III. PROCEDURE
A. Motivation
Let the students play a game named “Crazy Train”
Instructions: Students will be grouped into 10 or 12. They will be asked to
form a line and connect among themselves to represent a train. The teacher will say
start then the train slowly moves forward. He would give commands during the journey
such as fast, slow, move backward, turn left and more. Kids would listen to commands
and make changes in their movement.

B. Presentation
The teacher will show example of different watercolor bottle bottom printing. How
do you like the painting?
C. Discussion
The teacher will present all the materials needed. The teacher demonstrate how it
will be done. After all the pupils have gathered their materials, the teacher will guide
them. They can choose their own design.
D. Steps in making Plastic Bottle Bottom Printing
1. Choose a design in making plastic bottle bottom printing.
2. Get a sheet of vellum and put it on the table
3. Draw some branches of a tree wit the use of paint brush, then put a small
amount of watercolor at the bottom of the plastic bottle.
4. Stamp the bottom of a plastic bottle at the branches of the tree. Or you can
have an abstract painting, or bubble painting or even a flower in a garden.
5. You can design your own painting.
6. Let it dry.
7. Have fun!

IV. EVALUATION
1. Can you give me the meaning of bottle bottom printing?
2. How do you like the design?
3. How do you feel when doing the activity?
4. Check the work of the students and give corresponding comments on it.

V. EXCEPTIONALITIES
All special children except for visually impaired student.
