Passive-aggressive

Passive-aggressive behaviour is a pattern of indirectly expressing negative


Aggressive feelings instead of openly addressing them. There's a disconnect between
Aggressive behaviour is characterized by violence and hostility towards what a person who exhibits passive-aggressive behavior says and what he
others. Unlike those with assertive behaviour, an individual who has an or she does.
aggressive behaviour is not concerned about others. He is sel sh and very
opinionated. He does not listen to others but approaches the situation
from his point of view alone. Aggressive behaviour and assertive
behaviour share a certain characteristic.

Passive
Those with a passive behaviour are non-expressive. They do not express
their opinions or their needs. They do not play an active role and allows
others to make choices for them. They are usually indi erent to others and
are isolated. 

Assertive
Assertive behaviour is characterized by honesty, con dence, care,
active participation, and concern for the rights of others. A person
who displays assertive behaviour is always honest and speaks con dently.
He actively engages in the situation and deals directly with the problem.
Such behaviour is often considered as superior and a better method of
dealing with situations.

Self Awareness

Are you the same person who was there in 2012?

All of us have seen what this is like in the last three years, as we slowly try
and emerge from the COVID pandemic. If we think about the people we
used to be three years ago, before the pandemic, we can see how we
have changed. We can see how anxiety and isolation and upheavals in our
lives and livelihoods, how this has changed us, changed our
outlook, changed our perspective. But there is a paradox here, and the
paradox is when we look backwards, we can see enormous changes in
who we have become. But when we look forwards, we tend to imagine
that we're going to be the same people in the future.

Self Awareness

All Focusing on the self-awareness ability, anyone could say with


con dence: “I am quite self-aware”. However, this is a hard skill to
de ne; self-awareness is an ongoing process involving the following:

• Being open to constant learning and development


• Being open to feedback
• Being open minded about your strengths
• Being open minded about your weaknesses
• Being aware of your personal blind spots
• Listening without justifying
• Staying curious; asking questions to improve problem solving and/or
decision making
• Always setting new standards about yourself
• Embracing self-awareness as a standard practice in your life

understand how others see you):

Unlike companies or products, individuals possess intrinsic
personal branding as a result of personality qualities, past
experience and development, and communication with
others-whether they know it or not.

In this sense, every person already has a personal brand of


some kind. The challenge is to manage that brand
strategically. We o er a process for doing so, beginning with
self-analysis.

What Is Work Life Balance?


A balanced lifestyle would look like, I’ve found that most people
end up describing things like:
• Making a bigger impact at work and in the world (but without
sacri cing your personal healthy or happiness for it),
• Having a positive impact on your kids’ lives,
• Being present in the moment (with actual space to think),
• Prioritising what’s important to you (including self-care)
without guilt, shame or apology,
• Having strong boundaries that you feel good about enforcing,
and
• Letting go of trying to do/have it all.

What You Need to Know (To Create A More Balanced


Lifestyle)
If you want to create a more balanced life, then you must
rst understand why work life balance is important. Because
it’s di cult to create something that you don’t understand. And
warning: creating a more balanced lifestyle isn’t easy. It requires
you to:
• Prioritise what’s truly important (and drop the rest),
• Take control over your career path, and
• Simplify your life.
