MESSAGE FROM CHANCELLOR

For ages, the preceptors shared and disseminated knowledge to the disciples in many ways.
The most common form was the lecture method. But the ancient Indian gurus also
encouraged the discussion and debate models to make disciples learn higher realms of
knowledge besides creating camaraderie among them. Greeks also engaged in debates and
discussions through cooperative argumentative dialogue between individuals to stimulate
critical thinking and draw out ideas. I, too, strongly believe that knowledge proliferates when
two or more minds are involved. It is indeed a very happy feeling that the 3rd International
Conference on Energy Control Computing and Electronic Systems”, ICECCES2022 is
organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which again serves as
a similar platform for people of common interest to delve deep into the conference domain
and bring out scintillating learning takeaways for the participants. The Department of
Electrical and Electronics Engineering deserves a lot of appreciation for planning this event
such impressively and ultimately productive. I whole heartedly thank the experts visiting
from different parts of the world to deliver their valuable lectures and wish the participants a
happy and fruitful stay.

Dr. M. Mohan Babu

The advancement in VLSI technology seeks a high speed and low

power devices which leads to occurrence of faults. When a fault
occurs in a circuit or cell, the characteristics of the circuit or a cell
changes to different values till the fault is cleared. So, "The
International Technology Road Map of Semiconductor Industry"
introduces self repair process which plays a important role in IC
yield growth and improve tolerant nature in circuit by repairing the
faults in the faulty circuit. This paper represents a new multiplexer
architecture with self repair ability is designed using self-repair
process. This method proposes a circuit under scrutiny by appending
redundant logic that permit repair of a fault. The design of 32×1 self

Photovoltaic devices, like any energy generation device, must be tracked

to improve device efficiency and to improve trust early identification
failures. The plant's production and behavior are dependent on many
photovoltaic control techniques. IoT has been a primary study field in PV.
The Internet of Things Technologies will significantly improve PV efficiency,
monitoring, and maintenance by monitoring the solar photovoltaic power
generation. With technical advancements, the expense of renewable
energy systems encourages massive solar photovoltaic plants worldwide.
This large scale solar photovoltaic implementation involves advanced
systems for remotely utilizing web-based interfaces to simplify PV control
since most of them are located in inaccessible locations and are thus
unable to be tracked from a central position. The intelligent photovoltaic
network is intended for efficient transmission of energy with low power
costs and high protection. Yet the early PV drawback is impossible to
forecast the energy generation condition. The critical issues posed by the
low-voltage power grid are voltage variations and system reliability. In
this article, we propose an IOT solar energy monitoring system that
enables solar power monitoring over the internet automatically. The
data is sent to the web page every 1 minute for processing about
the power generating units. The current was tracked continuously in
MOHAN BABUUNIVERSITY
the experimental portion of the PV voltage. The data obtained helps
to understand the condition and health of each component of the PV
system. ANN consequently grades PV faults. Both simulations are
conducted under the Think speak and MATLAB / Simulink model. In
comparison to other monitoring mechanisms, the efficiency of IoT
was measured. As per the result achieved, it is proven that the
proposed mechanism is far better than the existing traditional
systems

This paper presents a sensorless drive for 3-phase PMSM with

tolerance to current sensor faults using a standard Inverter. A
nonlinear observer estimates the feedback to the system controller
using rotor position, speed and phase current. If any fault detected,
an error reconstruction scheme is used to improve the observer
performance also to achieve uninterrupted operation of the observer
while the remaining phase current sensor signal provides the
feedback to the control system. The performance of the proposed
system is shown by simulations.

Identification of land use and management plans requires precise

delineation of property lines. Identification of land boundaries
manually has proven to be labour and time intensive. Plot bounds
must be manually drawn, which is prone to human error and needs
advanced annotation abilities. The plots must be updated on a
regular basis after they have been established in order to track
changes as they happen. Remote sensing imaging, for example,
offers detailed and geographically explicit information on agricultural
land usage in real-time that would otherwise be challenging to
collect. A historical record of the distribution of farmed crops across
areas is being made available to actors in the agro ecosystem by
means of satellite imagery, machine learning, and artificial
intelligence in agriculture. This information can be used by the
government to effectively plan the import and export of food goods.
Financial institutions can evaluate loan offers by using this
alternative Agri-data to identify the crop a farmer is growing, its
health, and the performance of the plot. Given the current state of
agricultural technology, agribusinesses may remotely manage and
monitor their farms at every step of crop development without
having to make regular trips to the fields.

A fundamental need in every human being's life is gas booking. This

initiative is essential to streamline the gas registration process. As
everyone is incredibly busy today, it might be hard to keep monitor
of an LPG gas cylinder's status. Cooking as well as other activities
may become exceedingly challenging if LPG runs out without
warning. Every family uses LPG gas, which is the most popular and
trusted fuel. It requires awhile to manually book a fresh gas
cylinder. An ideology called smart gas kit has been suggested as a
solution to these challenges. By employing a load cell and weight
sensor to determine the level of gas in the cylinder, gas scheduling
can be computerized. This can be used to determine the current
LPG quantity, which is then reported periodically on a phone app.
The user gets informed when the LPG level is incredibly low (below
2 0%) by sending a text message to their cellular telephone using
the ESP8266 module. By periodically sending an SMS with the gas
booking number, you can instantly order new L PG and prohibit pre-
booking and late booking.

Electric vehicles (EVs) have received a lot of attention in the last 20

years as one of the possible solutions to the greenhouse gas issue.
Making EVs more user-friendly is more crucial now than ever before
because of the rising quantity of EVs worldwide. Modern Electric
Vehicle (EV) design must take into account a number of essential
variables, including how to charge an EV, how long the battery will
last, and how to improve energy conversion while charging.
Consequently, it is essential to develop an effective charging control
system. In addition, EVs make use of a few power electronics
controllers to link the power system of the vehicle to a source for
charging. The design and development of a solar charger for an EV
using cascading two converters (DC-DC) is presented in this study.
The output from solar panels is increased using Maximum Power
Point Tracking (MPPT), and the solar panel voltage is raised using a
boost converter. EV voltage is increased from battery voltage using
a Luo converter. MOHANThe development
BABUUNIVERSITY
of the cascade control
arrangement aims to enhance the system's dynamic performances.
Two controllers are present there, and the output of one controller
affects the set point of the second controller. Using MATLAB's
SIMULINK environment, a complete simulation examination of the
system is conducted.

One of the most vital and expensive components of electric vehicles

is the battery. Of course, the battery is the only source of electricity
for an electric vehicle. However, the vehicle's power supply
eventually declines, resulting in decreased performance. For battery
manufacturers, this is a major concern. In this paper, it is proposed
to use IoT approaches to monitor and display the battery
performance. Here, the various battery metrics, including voltage,
current, and temperature, are tracked, observed, and shown. This
alerts the user to prevent the battery from being overcharged or
deeply discharged. With the use of various sensors, observation can
be carried out. Data on voltage, current, and temperature are sent
to a microcontroller unit, which subsequently transmits battery data
via the cloud for display. Real-time data of voltage, current, and
temperature may be displayed by the monitoring system, and the
data can be seen on an Android smartphone and a computer at the
same time. As a result, we might be able to improve the battery's
efficiency and lifespan. The user interface and results presentation
are the two main components of the proposed IoT-based battery

recognize weakened battery performance and notifies the user for
further action.

The objective of this article is to enhance the dynamic time

response of a PV and BESS energy conversion system in a closed-
loop boost sliding mode controlled grid linked system. Among the
several power quality devices, the active filter is a common one. A
voltage source inverter (VSI) is used to build the active filter, and
a sliding mode controller is used to produce the switching pulses.
Current harmonics are attenuated using the active filter. The
results of the simulation are shown to determine the impact of an
active filter utilising PID and SMC. In addition to comparing the
simulation results, the decreased voltage and current harmonics,
time-domain parameters, and simulation results for a grid-
connected PV and BESS MOHANsystem based on PID and SMC are

Underwater image enhancement and reconstruction is a

challenging task and has gained priority in recent years, as the
human eye cannot clearly perceive underwater images. The image
acquisition systems fails to capture images with significant detail
when used at greater depths underwater, such equipment is also
expensive. Thus, with the use of image processing algorithms it is
possible to reconstruct and enhance the image quality in the
absence of reliable and costly image acquisition systems. We,
therefore compare four different approaches for the enhancement
and reconstruction of underwater images. Firstly we use Adaptive
Histogram Equalization (AHE). Secondly we perform Gamma
Correction on the image. Brightness preserving Bi-Histogram
Equalization (BBHE) is the third approach taken. Lastly, we use the
Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram equalization (CLAHE).

The need for charging stations is expected to increase in tandem

with the expansion of the electric car market. Estimating how
quickly electric cars will become prevalent in the market is made
difficult by the diverse set of market conditions and the
exponential increase in the number of available electric vehicles.
For the adoption of electric vehicles for use as light passenger
vehicles, both an aggressive and a gradual scenario has been
presented. The pricing of electric cars on the market, as well as
tax cuts and incentives, have all had a key role in the pace of
electric vehicle adoption. We set out to design a stochastic joint
planning strategy that takes into consideration the way electric
vehicles will operate in both the transportation and power
sectors. This technique will take into account how EVs will
behave. Renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind
power, have gained favor as an alternative to traditional energy

sources since they do not have an effect on climate change. This
study proposes a charging model for electric cars (EVs) that
optimizes charging while taking into account the aging effects of

In agriculture, plant diseases have grown to be a dilemma as it

leads to losses in the yield, along with that in some conditions
the quality of the agricultural product is also affected. Health
monitoring and the identification of disease in plants is very
difficult manually. It requires expertise in plant disease and also
it requires more processing time. Hence the image processing is
used for the recognition of plant diseases. Disease recognition
involves steps like image acquisition, image pre-processing,
image segmentation, feature extraction, object recognition, and
classification. Based on the output obtained from the
abovementioned criteria, the disease with which the plant is
affected is observed. This paper discussed the method used for

In multi-bus systems, Distributed Power Flow Controller (DPFC) is

an excellent option for improving power quality. This study
compares closed loop, fourteen-bus DPFC systems using RES and
five-level inverters with and without ANN controllers. The goal of
this work is to enhance the closed loop controlled DPFC system's

Thievery and misplacement of luggage are two of the major

troublesome and inconclusive troubles around the globe for
those who travel a lot. Many innovations were found to solve
this problem, but they were unsuccessful and lacked in
implementing progressive technologies. This work is an
advanced approach to overwhelm such complications. Unlike the
existing systems, this system equips an idiosyncratic and
coherent property of the SMS (Short Message Service)
controllable location tracer and motion detection of the luggage
or the bag. Which can be turned on as per the need of the user.
The system further integrates a GPS (Global Positioning System)
which sends the coordinates as SMS, and this proposed system
is stuffed with present technologies to restrain the above
discussed obstacles faced by the user in the most efficient and
particular way.

With the development of smart grids, the cost of different energy

storage technologies is falling quickly and their Connection into the
electrical grid is becoming a possibility. One device that can provide
better voltage sag and swell correction with integrated energy
storage is the dynamic voltage restorer (DVR). Super capacitors
(Ultra Cap) and ultra capacitors (Ultra Cap) offer great qualities for
balancing voltage sags and swells, both occurrences that call for
high power for compact periods of time. The coupling of
rechargeable super capacitor-based energy storage with the DVR
circuit is the novel presentation of this study. Along with this pairing,
the super capacitor and Dynamic voltage restorer system possess
active power capabilities and it will be able to separately
compensate non-permanent voltage sags and voltage surge without
utilizing a relay on the grid to correct grid faults as in the past. A
bidirectional DC-DC converter that integrates a super capacitor into
the DC link of the DVR helps to provide an inflexible dc-link voltage.
The integrated Ultra Cap with DVR system also aids in compensating

seconds and one minute. The DC buck-boost converter and the
inverter's design and control challenges are also discussed.

The improvements in the Technology are playing the most

important role in the automotive industry & transportation
industry. The major disadvantage faced in the electric car is that
when the car gets losses its full charge while driving where there
is no nearby charging facility. Globally many electric vehicles
have one or more electric motors which is used to propel the
vehicle, when there is less power required the front motors must
be disabled and the mechanical energy produced by these wheels
should be converted to electric energy using the same motor as
Dynamo. The main objective in this paper is to Self-charge the
backup battery of the electric vehicle using dynamos attached to
the front wheels of the vehicle to improve the waste energy
management in EV Vehicles and Back-up battery can be used for
Emergency Purpose. Thus, when the Backup battery is fully
charged, it can also be used as power bank to charge the primary
battery to certain level when the vehicle is at rest.

Demand Side Management (DSM) is an effectual instrument to

utility companies in decreasing the maximum load demand and
monitoring the operation of power system. The employment of the
DSM offers profits to the utility companies as well as the customers
are profitable. Load shifting Technique based on DSM Scheme is
proposed in this work by incorporating several devices for
minimization of energy utilization. The load shifting technique has
been implemented on loads like industrial, residential and
commercial loads. To accomplish the load shifting objective
through the minimization problem an Artificial Cell Swarm

Power electronics control advances and the applicability of solar

photovoltaic (PV) cells simplify power production, application, and
grid integration, reducing cost and volume while enhancing
efficiency. The transformer-less inverter are becoming prominent
for small power ratings of electrical loads because of the
decreased cost, radioactive interference, losses, THD, and
increased controllability when compared to transformer-based
inverters or multi-stage inverters. In this paper, a Switched Trans
Z Source (STZS) converter is controlled by a PI controller with a
Whale Optimization (WO) algorithm, and a grid-connected PV
system's grid synchronization is controlled using the PI controller.
The Switched Trans Z-Source (STZS) converter is preferred as it
has high boost factor and minimized switching stress. The STZS
converter's gating sequence is generated using the WO
algorithm, and the link voltage is retained and fed into the grid
through a single-phase VSI. The VSI is regulated by the PI
controller which analogizes the reference and real powers to
achieve grid synchronization and reactive power adjustment. The
proposed control strategy is simulated in MATLAB and
implemented in hardware using an FPGA Spartan 6E, and the

results are examined. The THD of the source current is 1.6%,
which meets the IEEE standard.

The aim of this paper is to design a C band Christmas tree

shaped antenna for wide band application. This paper presented
an antenna which is initially triangular shaped and further for
purpose of enhancing the bandwidth certain uniform parasitic
patches are developed in the triangular patch. Another technique
employed in this paper for enhancing the bandwidth is by the use
of defective ground structure instead of complete ground. After
successive simulations of this antenna on to HFSS software it was
consequently found out that with the variation in the number of
parasitic patches and defective ground structure the bandwidth
was extremely enhanced. Starting with the initial bandwidth of
1.18 GHz gradually the bandwidth was increased to 2.39 GHz.
simultaneously gain enhancement took place and the increased
value of gain came out to be 1.97 dB. The Christmas antenna
was fabricated and further fabricated results were compared with
simulated results, the antenna was found to cover the entire
microwave C band.

This paper presents the applications and the effective use of Solar
Wind Hybrid Energy systems (SWHES). The future of Energy
generation depends on Solar Energy, as it the most abundant
natural source of energy. Conventional power generation is going to
become a difficult task in the future; it is due to the non availability
of coal. The increased per unit generation cost in the thermal power
plant. The transmission power loss is also one reason. Pollutants
released from the conventional power generation will affect the
environment. To overcome these difficulties in future we have to
depend on solar power generation. It is clean source of energy and it
can transform to any source of energy with no effect on the
environment.

Agricultural productivity is something on which economy highly depends.

This is one of the reason that disease detection in plants plays an
important role in agriculture field, as having disease in plants are quite
natural. If proper care is not taken in this area then it causes serious
effects on plants and due to which respective product quality, quantity or
productivity is affected. Presently, the plant leaf disease can be detected
physically by farmer by proper inspection. Farmers should go to the field
and should identify leaves affected by the disease. Then we should find
the solutions physically. This manual process of identifying plant leaf
disease consumes more time and will give accuracy of about 60%. In the
proposed system, a real time crop image capturing facility is provided and
there is 99% accuracy in detection of disease. The information about the
leaf disease can be sent to the farmers and climatic parameters such as
moisture, PH, humidity, temperature etc. can be measured and monitored
for the better growth of the plant. This process consumes less time to
detect and gives 99% accuracy. This helps farmer to grow quality
product.

The proposed system gives priority to self-defense by providing

safety and helping women in critical situations. It also tends to
implement a device that is triggered without any manual aid,
providing safety for women in public transport vehicles such as cabs,
taxis, buses, auto rickshaws. The main aim of the project is to
implement wearable IoT devices built with the Raspberry Pi, which
includes a sound sensor, camera module, GPS, and GSM. When the
sound sensor detects screaming, the machine learning SVM (support
vector machine) algorithm removes superfluous noise and analyses
just the victim's screaming. After analyzing the victim's scream, the
device immediately activates the camera module, which records 10
seconds of video. The GPS module will track the geographical
locations and, using the GSM module, will send an alert message as
well as an emergency call to the nearest police station. In the second
scenario, when the victim flips the switch, the camera module is
immediately enabled and a 10-second clip is recorded. The GPS will
be active, and GSM will transmit a status alert message. The

Multivariate statistical techniques, cluster analysis, non-parametric

tests, and principal component techniques were applied to analyse a
water quality to determine the main factors and geo chemical and spatial
variation of groundwater quality in the sea water intrusion area,
Visakhapatnam. Twenty ground water samples collected and analysed
thirteen parameters for 2018 to investigate spatial variations and identify
potential pollution sources. The results were obtained and compared
regarding standards prescribed by the Bureau of Indian Standards
(BIS,2012). The concentrations of TDS, chloride, nitrate, sulphate, and
fluoride were above the desired limits. The clustering procedure
generated three groups of sites in a very convincing way, as the twenty
monitoring sites were divided into low pollution (LP), moderate pollution
(MP), and high pollution (HP) types. Principal component revealed that
two factors explained around 55 % of the total variance, which water-
rock interaction and anthropogenic impact as the dominant factors
affecting the groundwater quality. The distribution of factor score one
represents high loading for TDS, TH, SO2-4, Mg2+, Ca2+, Cl-, K+, and
Na+ High factor loading between these parameters probably indicates the

dissolution of carbonate rocks, evaporite rocks, and chloride salts, which
makes the water slightly salty in some part of the study area. One-way

analysis. The hypotheses that are drawn using ANOVA were used for
water quality analysis.

Electric vehicles (EVs), which assist sustainable transportation while

minimising carbon emissions, have recently attracted a lot of interest.
Utilizing EVs powered by photovoltaics (PV) significantly minimises the
amount of carbon dioxide emitted into the atmosphere. The DC-DC
SEPIC converter receives the PV output first, and gives output as high
dc output voltage with low switching loss, and non-inverting output.A
hybrid GWO-PSO based Proportional Integral (PI) controller is used to
manage the performance of the SEPIC converter in order to ensure a
steady DC voltage for the three phase Voltage Source Inverter (3-Ø
VSI).The EV's run by BLDC motor is powered by the 3-Ø VSI output.
During the day, the EV application may run on power from the PV
however, at night, when the sun is not shining, the BLDC motor needs
power from the grid. This system is linked to the grid via a 1-Ø VSI.
The efficiency of the hybrid GWO-PSO algorithm PI Controller is 96%

Partially shaded photovoltaic (PV) modules have multiple peaks in

the power-voltage (P-V) characteristic curve. From the literature, it
was found that Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithms,
such as Incremental Conductance (INC) and Perturb and Observe
(P&O), were not able to track the Global Maximum Power Point
(GMPP) accurately due to their localized search space. Artificial
Intelligence (AI)-based MPPT techniques are used to track the GMPP
under partial shaded conditions (PSC). They are robust, reliable,
efficient and show better performance when compared to
conventional techniques. The objective of this paper is to implement
Kinetic Gas Molecule Optimization (KGMO)-P&O hybrid MPPT
algorithm for Solar PV system. Performance is analyzed for
unshaded as well as partial shading conditions. In this study, KGMO,
P&O and INC MPPT control technique are employed for same solar
PV system. The performances of KGMO-P&O, KGMO, INC and P&O
were analyzed and compared in terms of MPPT power, efficiency and
settling time for unshaded condition and under PSC.
MATLAB/SIMULINK environment is used for simulation. From
MOHAN BABUUNIVERSITY
simulation results, it is found that KGMO-P&O hybrid method
provides effective MPPT control than KGMO, P&O and INC under
unshaded condition. Under PSC, KGMO-P&O method was more
effective than KGMO. It was found that the hybrid method results in
large total power, more efficiency with reasonable settling time.

Electric charging vehicle (EV's) battery packs are indeed a possible

source of energy conservation for microgrids. Battery Vehicles could
help micro-grids to save energy through storing electric power
whenever there is a surplus from Grid to electric vehicle and sending
it to the system back when it becomes wanted from electric vehicle
to grid .Because EV technology is progressing quickly and cost of
batteries are falling, the inclination for electric mobility has indeed
been rising. The lengthy battery charge controller becomes a
problem as a result. Incredibly quickly stations are being designed to
address this issue. The issue of lengthy rechargeable batteries has
been resolved by quick charging stations, however this adds to the
microgrid's strain. This study presents a control method for such a
Micro grid that includes distributed power generation with electric
drive incredibly quickly stations. This paper primary objective is to

decrease voltage droop & swelling problems by employing an electric
vehicle's batteries as just a dc supply for such a Dynamic Voltage
Restorer (DVR) device. The outcomes of simulations in
MATLAB/SIMULINK show that the proposed electric vehicle to grid
method can enhance power quality by reducing voltages swell and
sagging.

Wireless Power Transfer Systems (WPTSs) as power supply strive for

tight voltage/current regulation and excellent efficiency. Although
the well-known impedance matching control aims for high efficiency,
the additional dc-dc converters or hard switching in WPTSs diminish
total system efficiency. Especially for high-wattage applications. In
most WPTSs, obtaining ZVS of all switches is a good strategy to
increase transfer efficiency. The distribution of system power loss is
explored in this study under ZVS conditions of all switches, and the
optimal operating position with the least power loss.

The concept of the so-called V2G idea, a conceptual framework needed

to integrate electric vehicles into the network, was the main focus of
this article. The development of a mathematical model for grid
integration of electric vehicles (EVs) is the goal of this effort. The
implementation of vehicle-to-grid technology will increase the stability
of India's power grid by reducing voltage fluctuations. It will also
provide power to the grid during peak times to reduce the burden on
conventional electricity sources and to charge cars during peak times
when electricity is more affordable. Complex financial calculations are
required to take into account this energy exchange between the grid
and EVs in both directions (V2G or G2V).

In smart cities such as Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, etc. is

traffic congestion. This has turned out to be a daily problem at the current
time. Due to this road congestion accidents in the city have been raised to
a great extent so lives lost due to accidents are even more crucial. In
recent years, the promotion and application of computer video detection
technology have made the real-time detection of delays possible, and
have also provided a platform and opportunity for open-loop control to
turn into closed-loop control in traffic control. The parameters referring to
traffic control are extracted from video traffic detection; therefore, the
control effect is evaluated. Based on the evaluation results, the
requirement for an adjustment scheme can be analyzed. If in case of
traffic police monitoring fails then the central control system will monitor.
A new traffic control scheme can be generated to construct the urban
roads traffic control closed-loop self-tuning system. So, the system
control strategy can be adjusted real-timely according to the system
output. Besides this, Emergency vehicles such as ambulances, fire cars,
and other vehicles cannot reach on time. This results in a huge loss of life.

The country's economy relies heavily on agriculture, and the health of the
crops isessential to its success. Crop diseases that go undetected can cost
the agricultureindustry. Thus early detection and identification are crucial.
It is possible to avoid cropdiseases from destroying the harvest if they are
accurately diagnosed and detected. Because healthy and diseased plants
appear identical in their early stages, farmerscannot distinguish between
the two by watching the crop leaf. India exports vastmangoes, making it
an economically and environmentally significant fruit. About 1500mango
species are grown in India, with over 1000 commercial types. There are a

In the present circumstances, Electric Power consumption is

increasing day by day. The sudden surge in loads will have a great
impact on the utility grid and will indirectly affect the consumers.
The Government of India has taken many initiatives to promote
manufacturing (through make in India policy) and the adoption of
Electric Vehicles (EVs) in India. In the future, the usage of EVs will
increase significantly, which will lead to high power consumption and
will have a great impact on the distribution system. High penetration
of EVs requires high transmission capabilities, which results in more
real power losses in the distribution system. These losses can be

The hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) has the drawback of using fossil
fuels by which pollution will be increased. To address this problem, a
fuel cell (FC) has been proposed as the major energy source and an
ultracapacitor (UC) as an auxiliary source, both of which are
connected in parallel to form the DC bus in a hybrid electric vehicle
(HEV). This technology generates energy in response to the needs of
the moving vehicle. In order to reduce overshoots and steady-state
error under input voltage variations and load changes, back stepping
sliding mode control has been devised and put into practice. This
has allowed for the regulation of the energy supply from both
sources in MATLAB/Simulink.

Extreme events that could lead to the failure of numerous

components in power grids and create major power outages are a
possibility. Designing efficient restoration solutions to increase the
electrical grid's resilience is crucial from a practical standpoint. Inthis
context, different time scaled for various restoration methods were
considered and proposed an integrated strategy to maximize the
total amount of electricity supplied to the loads in the recovery
process. The strategy combines the slow restoration method of
component repair and the fast restoration method of optimal power
dispatch. The Q-learning algorithm is implemented to generate
sequential order for repairing damage and update the network
configuration. The linear optimization algorithm is then used to
obtain the optimal power dispatch on the network. Simulation
results show that the proposed method has successful in
coordinating the available resources and manpower for effective

The reliable and secure operation of the current electricity system is

challenged by the penetration of renewable energy sources (RESs)
in the distribution system. The power quality and stability of the
system are significantly impacted by the irregular nature of
sustainable energy sources as well as the unpredictable load
variations. To cohabit in micro-grids, storage systems must have
high energy and high power handling capacities. The paper concerns
with development of an effective energy management structure for a
grid-connected PV system with battery and super capacitor hybrid
storage. The combined super capacitor and battery storage system
is able to quickly manage the DC-link voltage since it can handle
both average and transient power variations. The simulation results
shown an improved average power distribution between the power
grid and the battery system and improves the overall performance
of the proposed energy management scheme.

.A nine-level single phase multilevel inverter is proposed for

photovoltaic applications in this paper. With the adequate gate
signal configuration, the proposed nine-level inverter continues to
generate a nine-level AC voltage output. Recent times,
multilevel inverter researchers have now become engaged in
minimizing the number of switches and DC supplies with
acceptable total harmonic distortion of the voltage waveform
output in order to minimize losses and expenses. The proposed
nine-level inverter can decrease switching losses and voltage
stresses in power devices. The proposed converter has fewer
switches and higher reliability. The results of the investigation of
the recommended topology using the suitable pulse width
modulation scheme were compared to those of a traditional
cascaded multilevel inverter. The simulation outcomes are
presented using MATLAB/Simulink.

Since the faster advancement and widespread adoption of Electric

Vehicles (EVs), there will be an increasing number of decided to
retire energy storage devices in the upcoming years. Three basic
topologies buck, boost, and buck-boost are available in high
performance dc dc converters. The output voltages of these
converters are constrained at high duty cycles due to increased
element stresses. These decided to retire battery packs can be
utilized in energy-storage systems to help sustain demand response
operations with high renewable energy permeation. The DC-DC
converter for integrating the two variable input supplies was
simulated using MATLAB/Simulink. The performance of the dual
input DC-DC converter simulation results has been compared with
conventional converters.

Over ordinary multilevel inverters (MLIs) featuring switched-

capacitor (SC) module has emerged as prominent study area in
power electronics. Because of its transformerless/ inductorless
operation, increase in output voltage, and intrinsic balancing of
capacitor voltage capability with less electromagnetic interference
(EMI), the SC-MLI is an appealing converter above further existing
equivalents for a variety of applications. Many newly developed SC-
MLI structures have been published, each of which employs a
different fundamental switching approach to provide various output
voltage levels. In common, topological development objectives are
driven by the amount of output voltage levels, total voltage boosting
capability, and complete DC voltage usage, whereas component
count and device stress are minimized for increased efficiency and
power density. This paper presents a thorough assessment of
current SC MLI topologies at different levels, as well as their
switching configurations, to assist guide future research in SC-MLIs

Multilevel Inverters (MLI) have superseded two-level inverters in

high voltage and high-power applications owing to low-voltage
stress across the switches, high-quality output harmonic profiles,
and low-EMI (EMI). Capacitor clamped, diode clamped, and
cascaded H-bridges are three classical MLI topologies. Switched
capacitor (SC) MLI topologies contain fewer components than
classical MLI topologies and balance capacitor voltage by charging it
to a constant voltage. SCMLI inverters don't require inductors,
reducing IC manufacturing complexity. Number of capacitors in
SCMLI structure impacts inverter output voltage. This paper aims to
review the different SCFLI(Five Level Inverter) topologies with
detailed switching logic that can create an AC output(five-level)
voltage with reduced harmonic distortion compared to two-level
inverters for various applications. Also comparison of various FLIs
has been presented in terms of component count and DC sources.

Harmonics cause the quality of power from solar photovoltaic (PV)

energy conversion systems to deteriorate. Our research investigates
the removal of harmonics in a solar-fed cascaded 11-level inverter
using proportional integral (PI), fuzzy logic (FL) and Adaptive Neuro
Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) based controllers in order to
address this issue. In contrast to other methods, the proposed
ANFIS-based methodology assists in minimizing harmonic distortions
with the goal of improving power quality. The 11 level Modular
Multilevel Inverter suggested in this article is powered by solar PV
cells. To enhance performance, Proportional-Integral (PI) and Fuzzy
Logic (FL) driven controllers are used to evaluate the inverter. With
consideration to better robustness in terms of peak overshoot,
controller settling time, and total harmonic distortion (THD) of the
inverter, a comparative analysis will be conducted. The simulations

Now a day the power generation is along with the conventional

sources the renewable energy sources are used. Among the various
renewable energy sources solar and wind energy sources are
prominent energy sources because we can generate large power
from these sources. As the number of renewable energy sources is
mostly growing, but solar power systems in particular have grown
quickly as technology has improved and costs have gone down. But
because it doesn't have enough rotating masses and inertial
response, its grid integration will make the Stability of frequency
worse. To connect solar power to the power grid, you need a
synchroconverter, which is an inverter that works like a synchronous
generator. It keeps the power grid stable by adding of a virtual
inertia. But a traditional synchroconverter based on proportional-
integral (PI) does notMOHAN

a digitalized smart controller to handle
solar inputs that change quickly. The improvements in control and
different ways that synchroconverter can be used call for a thorough
but critical review. So, the main goal of this paper is to give a critical
review of synchroconverter technology, which could make
Renewable Energy Sources more stable by producing virtual inertia.
