DEFINITION
The word suicide breaks down into the Latin words
sui and caedere, which together translate to “kill
oneself.”
Suicide
is seen as stemming from the
absence of social integration. It is
committed by individuals who are
social outcast and see themselves as
being alone or an outsider.
