ANNUAL REPORT

CY 2022
I. INTRODUCTION

Bugayong Elementary School with the tagline, “Gumgumluung, Bugayong!” is a non-

central multi-grade complete elementary school in Nueva Era district with a total enrolment
of 101 for the SY 2021-2022. The school is situated at the southwest barangay of Nueva Era
and approximately seven kilometers away from the town proper. It is accessible to all kinds
of vehicles. Most of the people in the school community are engaged in farming, small-scale
businesses, and other professions.

There are seven members of the faculty and staff—one (1) School Principal I, one (4)
Teacher III , and two (2) Teacher I. They make the group in creating significant changes for
the continuous improvement of the school’s facilities and services for the benefit of learners.
They, with the support of both the internal and external stakeholders, are actively engaged in
bridging the gaps between the status of the school and the division targets. As such, the
school has implemented the following programs and projects for the attainment of division
goals and objectives: instructional supervision; instructional materials development; conduct
of LAC sessions, school-based feeding program, and Parent-Teacher Conferences;
construction and repair of major facilities such as the rehabilitation of the canteen extension,
and potable water system; improvement of electrical and internet connectivity; acquisition of
garden tools and sports equipment; improvement of school library, computer room, school
clinic/isolation area; and purchase of ICT materials to improve teaching and learning
situations as well as participation to trainings and workshops by teachers and pupils.

The school’s maintenance and improvement of its physical facilities are a result of the
collective efforts of the PTA, alumni, and other benefactors who share time, resources and
initiatives in order to realize the visions of the school. However, there is still a need to
increase the number of active alumni of the school and the community members so that the
school programs, projects, and other activities shall be fully implemented for the welfare of
the learners.

With the growing population of the school and to ensure the delivery of quality
service to all stakeholders with the end of increasing the functional literacy of the pupils, it
is still highly wished for to have an additional teacher item.
