have their cellphones with them

during school?
Good day, before I start my speech let me ask you one simple question. How did
technology broke your life cycle? Before you will spend many hours finding
information in a text book but now in just one click you got all the information you
needed. Ladies and gentlemen, well I am Cassie Danielle L. Fruelda, honoured to be
standing in front you as I discuss my stand on a relevant issue in education field.

I. INTRODUCTION

A. Catchy hook
Technology can become the “wings” that will allow the educational world to fly
farther and faster than ever before – if we allow it. This is the quote written by
Jennifer Arledge.

B. Background Information

Our learning method has been easier and advanced by the help of technology especially in the
midst of the pandemic. We used different learning method in order to teach students and help
them learn despite of the difficulties the country is facing. Now that face to face classes is back
students had a hard time adjusting since they were stuck at home learning by the use of gadgets
and printed modules. Many students take their phones to school and while phones can be
distracting, they said,they are valuable educational tool when used correctly.

C. Thesis Statement
The use of this educational tool must only be for educational and emergency
purposes and can only be used for fun during free time like lunch, rules and
regulations of the use of phones must be implemented in every school.

II. BODY

A. Supporting Point 1
Mobiles phones can save much time in searching information. With the help of
internet, it made things less complicated for us to find details and facts. Unlike in
the library, you’ll spend your whole time searching for a book regarding to the
lesson. They can learn more efficiently.

B. Supporting Point 2
Mobiles phones can be used for emergency.Parents or guardian can easily contact
their children especially when they are gonna be home late due to practice or study
group. And in reverse, students can contact their parent or guardian when
something unexpected happened like headache, nausea and stomach ache.

C. Supporting Point 3
Mobiles phones creates memories. Phones has a lot of educational potential but it
can be used for fun too but in a right way. During their free time they can listen to
music and sing along. They can take pictures of important events in school such as
friend’s birthday, foundation day, teachers day and valentines day.

III. CONCLUSION
Cellphones have a bundle of benefits that help make learning easier, accessible,
and entertaining. Rules and regulation the school implemented should be followed
by students.Rules for example. Phone is strictly prohibited during class hours, this
way it can teach students to be more responsible and disciplined. Taking phone in
school is at your own risk and care. Let us not take advantage of the benefits of
technology, remember to also work hard for a better future for our next generation.

Mobile phones can help our learning more efficient, but the teachers is the most
