1. How do you determine the solutions of quadratic equations? How about rational
algebraic equations transformable into quadratic equations?
There are two solutions in each algebra equation . To find the solutions of rational
algebraic equations transformable into quadratic equation, first transform it into a
quadratic equation, then apply whatever method is applicable to find the solutions or
(roots). There are four methods in finding the roots of a quadratic equation, 1 extracting
the square root, 2.factoring, 3.completing the squares, 4 using quadratic formula. Below
are the demonstrations on how to solve each example of rational algebraic equations
transformable into quadratic equations using the four different methods.
Step-by-step explanation:
x²-25 = 0
x² = 25
√x² = ±√25
x = 5 or -5
2. Suppose a quadratic equation is derived from a rational algebraic equation. How do you
check if the solutions of the quadratic equation are also the solutions of the rational
algebraic equation?
