Do you think recovering our oral literature through our national language Filipino is our best
strategy for establishing our sense of identity as Filipinos and for our survival in the era of
globalization? Explain.
I think yes, because globalization has a huge impact in every society and it begins to destroy our
national identities. The Philippines needs to be able to maintain a firm hold on a sense of identity
and national interest it represents. We must dedicate ourselves to our studies and authorization of
history culture and literature in order to shape the Filipino people. In positive ways we should
express our Filipino spirit through national language in order to survive in this period of
modernity.
