Project TABANG

Project Description

Project TABANG aims to reach out students, teachers, and the community of people that comprises
the entirety of Pagsanghan National High School (PNHS) campus to become a united body as this project
will not only center upon one or two proposed projects but their are three: for the environment which we
call “Let's Plant Our Future!” which aims to teach students how to appreciate the nature and the
importance of the environment; for fellow students in need of help which we referred to as “Share to
Care”, a school supply pantry where an EXTRA of yours will be a GREAT help for others ; and, the
“Project ATO-KITA” (Awakening Trust and Offer Kindliness to Individuals and To give hope for A
better future)” that aims to let virtuousness prevail among the youth and to inspire hope in spite of the
struggles that are present in the current situation by maximizing our capabilities limited due to the
pandemic.

1. Let's Plant Our Future!

“We HEARD the plea of the nature, we RESPONDED to her call.”

As the world moves towars global warming each passing day, it is important that we must realize the
importance of trees and how essential they are for living. This project aims for the involvement in this
global movement demonstrating solidarity in caring for the environment and our planet; engaging studens
to find solutions to pressing environmental problems that we face today. It captures the need to take
collective actions by investing in students to become a stewards of our environment; a duty as responsible
citizens and protectors of the Earth. This project encourages everyone to reflect on the brighter outcome
that this day will bring to our future generations. Together, let us remain steadfast in championing
sustainability as we achieve our shared goal of a greener and better tomorrow for us all. “Planting trees is
planting hope.”

2. Share to Care

“Kumuha ayon sa PANGANGAILANGAN, magbigay ayon sa KAKAYAHAN.”

The SSG of Pagsanghan National High School finds a means to lower students cost for school supplies
as part of their platform. That is why the Share to Care, a School Supply Pantry, had been prepared to
meet students fundamental needs by providing school supplies to other student learners. This pantry is
packed with school supplies such as ballpens, pencils, intermediate paper, notebooks, bondpappers,
colored papers, folders, envelopes and more. In the other way around, those who would like to share their
blessings and extra school supplies are also welcome. We might never know how an extra of ours will be
of great help for others.

3. Project ATO-KITA (Awakening Trust and Offer Kindliness to Individuals and To give hope for A
better future)

COVID-19 has changed our lives; we embarked on a journey none of us choose. Both the teachers and
students have suffered from the virus– or fear of it. Project ATO-KITA of Supreme Student Government
of Pagsanghan National High School aims to let virtuousness dominate among youth and to awaken hope
despite of the struggles that are present during the current situation by maximizing our capabilities that
are limited due to the pandemic. The theme for this project is: “Students Amidst the Pandemic:
Overcoming Challenges and Striving as the Future's Hope.” Some activities included are conducted
online such as: (1)Poster Making Contest; (2)Siday Making Contest; (3)Song Writing Contest; and (4)
Tiktok Dance Video Competition. The ‘new normal’ pointed out how COVID-19 transformed essential
aspects in life but we have seen the need to improvise, adapt and overcome. This Project's immediate
focused lies upon conducting continuous school activities in spite of the complex problems faced
primarily by the students that have emerged from the pandemic by highlighting resilience, recovery and
restructuring. There are many learnings we can gain from this project that can be used in building hopes
for a better future.
