Congratulations on becoming a contestant in the MissBuild Your Biz Beauty Pageant 2011-2012 Pageant.

As a new director, I am excited to be hosting this prestigious and historical event. The Pageant is on a Sunday, a one day event. Categories of competition are Wow-Wear. Outfit or swimsuit of your choice (be creative). Evening Gown competition and anon stage Interview for all contestants. The scoring of each competition is worth the same in each category. Three questions will come from your Contestant profile sheet and you will have 90 seconds in timing. Each judge will be prepared to ask you a question, depending on your timing and answers. The Opening # for all delegates is your favorite company or entrepreneurial business. Your outfit should be classy, professional, and can be a dress, pants outfit, skirtoutfit and don t forget to accessorize! Rehearsals will be conducted by our choreographer, Mrs. Trella Woodfork. You will wear your official pageant T-shirt that will be given to you at registration along with white shorts. You may wear white tennis shoes or sandals. Please bring your competition shoes. Everyone will get a MissBuild Your Biz T-shirt and a Program Book with their entry payment. Entry fee is $200 for all contestants and is due by September 30th to qualify for the Early Bird Special ($50 off your entry fee). If paid after September 30th or on the day of the pageant the full $200 is due.

Welcome to the Miss Build Your Biz 2011-2012 Pageant

General Information
There will be a photogenic competition and a winner in each division. Bring a photo, no large then an 8x10 with you at registration. It will be given back to you before the pageant starts. There will be a Miss Congeniality winner and other awards selected among all delegates. This will be done after pageant rehearsals. Only one person will be allowed with you in the dressing room. There is a $10 fee and a wrist band will be given to you for that person. This person may stay in the dressing room during the pageant to help you. If they choose to watch the pageant, they will be required to leave the dressing room before the pageant starts and has to pay the general admission fee of $10.00. Prize package will be posted on the blog site at http://msbybbcpageant.blogspot.com/ There will be a contract signing after the pageant and official photos taken. There will be a Top 5 for each division: photo, interview, gown, and wow-wear award. Email a photo to Leah by 9/30/2011 to appear in program Book.

Contestants Remember, selling ads does not increase your chances of winning. Ad sales are not mandatory but do help cover your pageant entry fees. Also, if youre the top ad seller, you will be named as the 2011-2012 Cover Girl and will appear on the back cover and win a 7 inch crown. 50% of the ad sales go toward your entry fee
