II. Project Summary

The Project STAR (Strengthening Teachers’ effort through

Awards and Recognitions) is designed to appreciate the great

Recognitions and awards vary depending on the

circumstances. For the cleanest classrooms, it shall be done in a

weekly scheme. Meanwhile, the awarding of the Most Outstanding

Teacher, Most Innovative Teacher, etc. will be done quarterly. This

project shall be taken throughout the school year, 2022-2023.

This project has a budgetary allocation amounting to

Php5,630.00 which shall be used for the materials needed in printing

certificates and other prizes.

III. Project Background

As the Pandemic escalates to a new level, the teachers and

non-teachers need to adapt and produce a tremendous amount of

work in providing, cascading, and executing a task in the different

standards. It is vital that the school continuously fortifies their

self-worth and realizes that their fulfilling sweat is not wasted.

Last year, I observed that most of the teachers encountered

difficulties in teaching since the modular learning approach was

used in Roxas Stand-Alone Senior High School. Teachers became

physically, emotionally, and financially tired from preparing

modules, and crafting instructional materials or videos for their

students. Based on the informal survey 25 out of 30 teachers at

Roxas Stand-Alone Senior High School were stressed and

emotionally exhausted. Hence, there is a need for an intervention

to boost their confidence by recognizing their accomplishments.

Project STAR (Strengthening Teachers’ effort through Awards

and Recognitions) is a contextualized version of Project

PAMMADAYAW of the Division of Isabela to award and recognize

employees who have rendered exemplary work performance,

notable accomplishments, and exemplified the values of the

Department of Education (DIVM. 87, S. 2022).

Thus, the award committee is formulated to cite, review, and

deliberate the accomplishments of each teacher in the school to

fully determine and give justice to what is due thru Project STAR.

IV. Project Objectives

This project aims:

1. To empower teachers in the workplace.

2. To establish a system that recognizes and uplifts

teachers from their hardships

3. To express the deepest gratitude towards individual

accomplishments.

4. To boost the morale of each faculty
