Conclusions

Based on the responses of the employees from the three

selected hotels in Butuan City namely; Oazis Hotel, Big Daddy’s

Hotel and Dottie’s Place Hotel the following conclusions are

drawn:

The researchers conclude that the extent of the implementation

of the motivation factors and hygiene factors and its level of

effectiveness are both with a verbal interpretation of “very

large extent”. The motivation factors have an overall mean of

4.48 with a verbal description of “strongly agree”, this only

implies that motivation factors such as; achievement,

advancement, work Itself, recognition, and growth are proven to

be job satisfaction factors. This suggests that the motivation

factors stated are very relevant and satisfy the requirements of

the respondents. According to the data, respondents demonstrated

that motivation factors have a positive linear relationship with

job satisfaction. This relation is statistically significant.

Additionally, hygiene factors have an overall mean of 4.44 with a

verbal description of “strongly agree”, this suggests that

hygiene factors; company policy, relationship with peers, work

security, relationship with supervisor, pay, and working


conditions have significant positive relationships with the

respondents' job satisfaction. Based on the data, employees agree

that there is a significant relationship between hygiene factors

and their job satisfaction.

According to the results, the majority of their responses are

"very satisfied," indicating that the three selected hotels are

effectively implementing these mentioned factors for their

employees. As a result, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, hotel

management was able to maintain its employees satisfied with

their jobs by properly adopting the aforementioned hygiene and

motivating factors. The researchers came to the conclusion that

the level of job satisfaction among the respondents is at a very

large extent.
