The
Anti-Cheating Hat
Illustration
Functionality &
Design
The shape was inspired by the vulture crown of Elizabeth Taylor in the
Hollywood epic Cleopatra (1963). Vultures in Egypt primarily symbolize
death, but they can also be seen as symbols of patience, resourcefulness,
and even rebirth. For me, I chose it as a symbol of patience because during
examinations students need to have patience, and be calm even if things
went sideways to prevent the chance of having anxiety or worse mental
block. Those golden yellow vulture feathers were extended, overlapping the
face to prevent the user from cheating and looking in other directions.
Another detail that can be seen on the hat is the Narcissus or also known as
a daffodil. The daffodil flowers are symbols of honesty and truth since it is an
anti-cheating hat the daffodils speak for honesty during the examination
day. Lastly, I stick with the color yellow because it is an emblem of
optimism. Regardless of the difficult test positivity is radiated by the yellow
color. The shape of the anti-cheating hat is perfectly customized based on
the head shape of the user, it is comfortable to wear and portrays a royal
look to the user.
Message:

"Be majestically honest and patient, it emanates positivity."

Strategy of
Transportation

The anti-cheating hat will be transported on a mannequin head support and will be
covered with a plastic clear cellophane. This will ensure the shape and design of the hat
are intact. It will prevent the hat from deformation and from any liquid substances that
may cause damage or discoloration.
