Q1. Determine the area between f(x)=3+2x− x2 and above the x-axis.

Q2. Determine the area to the left of g(y)=3− y2 and to the right of x=− 1.

Q3. Determine the area of the region bounded by the given set of curves

(i) x=3+y2, x=2− y2, y=1 and y=− 2.

(ii) x=y2− y− 6 and x=2y+4.
(iii) x=y2+1, x=5, y=− 3 and y=3

(iv) y=2x2+10, y=4x+16, x=− 2 and x=5.

Q4. Find the area between the two curves y = x2 and y = 2x – x2.

Q5. Determine the area of the region enclosed by x=0.5 y2− 3 and y=x− 1.
