    AFFORDABLE AND ENERGY-SAVER MOVING SPOTLIGHT FOR VICINITY SECURITY

    This study aimed to design and create a moving spotlight that is affordable,

    reusable, and less consumable of electricity. The researchers used a descriptive-

    experimental approach that determined the level of effectiveness and acceptability of

    the moving spotlight. Thirty (30) respondents were chosen randomly from the

    households living in Barangay Santa Cruz. Based on the findings, the level of

    effectiveness of the product got a 4.87 weighted mean or Strongly Agree, and the level

    of acceptability got 4.95 or Strongly Agree. Therefore, these results showed that the

    moving spotlight promotes security and consumes less electricity. Researchers

    recommended using solar technologies to convert sunlight into electrical energy through

    photovoltaic (PV) panels to save electricity consumption.
