Reaction Paper

The Professional Education is a non-degree program that provides

knowledge in basic professional education courses. Its advantages includes having
additional knowledge and the ability to learn while working because the program
includes topics in the principles of education, educational psychology, principles and
techniques of teaching as well as the measurement, evaluation and practicum in
managing and monitoring student learning. Also, it widens, improve, and increase the
knowledge of an individual engaged or graduate of a certain degree and it helps
professionals to maintain their competence and help them become more competitive in
the international labor market

At the same time, it has its disadvantages such as its seminars and trainings are costly
and are not accessible to busy professionals. While some of the seminars may be
useful, many professionals have found them time-consuming, costly and even a waste
of time, especially if they happen to have attended boring or useless lectures. According
to some professionals, the program is not realistic but it is necessary and they don’t
always come cheap.

In my point of view, I believe that professionals do need to regularly attend seminars

and trainings to make sure that they’re continuously growing and learning as
professionals. The seminars they need to attend to get their license renewed, they need
to attend even more seminars to get their employment contracts renewed. Also, it is
necessary because that's where professionals get updates about new practices, and
equipment but instead of using or consuming your time focusing on your job or career,
the said program would take mostly of your time and it costs too much. It would be a
great help for professionals if the said program is free, for professionals to be willing to
undergo trainings and seminar and they will find it accessible and convenient.
