Export Frequency Conversion

 
1. Remove the covers from the unit and locate the circuit board pads behind
the front panel as shown above.
2. Carefully solder two 104 (.1uf) capacitors across the pads making sure
Not to short any other pins on the board. Use a small, Very low
temperature, soldering iron to complete the job.
3. Re-assemble the unit and disconnect all power to the unit to re-set the CPU
memory. The radio should now operate on all bands by rotating the
channell selector through 40 channels. The display will indicate which band
is in use. (A - E)
 
 
NOTE: The bands are indicated by a small symbol (A through E) in the display window.
