Responsible Decision-Making: To Do or Not To Do

 Handling Life Situations

- In handling life situations, we should learn to always listen to everyone.
Learn to ask questions to clarify any misunderstandings and to express
your feelings. Asking questions will help us to resolve any problem
orsituation that we are trying to resolve. We encounter a lot of people in
our lives, so we should also know how to use our words correctly and
appropriately. We should also know our limits. Never take on other
people’s lives and learn to limit yourself in doing things that could cause
others to feel bad about you. Always focus on the present and not the
past. Learn to focus on what you want to happen and what you want to do.

 Applying Moral Values Versus Influences

- In making decisions, moral values play a big and important role in it.
Everyone knows how important our moral values are. However, we also
know how big the influences of people are in our lives and decisions. It is
important to always put your moral values in any situation or decision
because this will help us avoid any bad decision and to avoid creating any
misunderstanding. As we grow up, we understand what our moral values
are and what are not. And in our lives, we are influenced by the people
around us like our family, friends, and even the culture we have. In terms
of influences, we should learn how to balance the influences we get from
others and know how to use them properly in any decision we are about to
take.

 Mature Decision Making

- Making decisions should always be done with being considerate and
understanding. It is important to try to clearly define the nature of the
decision you must make. Do not just make any decision without thinking of
what the outcome could be. You should also gather what information is
needed, the best sources of information, and how to get it. In decision-
making, you can also use your imagination to construct any alternatives.
Learn to know what should be your priority on what you need to decide.

 Facing The Consequences Of Actions

- In making decisions, we can not always avoid the consequences that can
happen. We tend to believe in false information, we also can not avoid
being biased in a decision. In facing the consequences of our actions, we
should always learn from the mistakes we made in our actions before.
These consequences are not there to torture us, these consequences are
there to help us understand the things that we should change. Do not let
these consequences be your reason to blame yourself and others for what
happened. Facing the consequences in our lives should be our driving
force to learn and be better.
