Your task is to perform a scientific demonstration about convection as a way of transferring


heat. This performance task will be done by group.

The demonstration should have the following content:


1. Research a specific experiment that shows convection as a way of transferring heat.
2. Your demonstration should be different from other group.
3. Create a handout about the demonstration which includes the following:
a.3.1 Title of the scientific demonstration
a.3.2 Materials
a.3.3 Procedure in scientific demonstration
a.3.4 An short explanation about the correlation of the experiment to Convection
current as the driving force of the Earth’s lithosphere.

Guidelines:
1. The scientific demonstration should show relationship to the topic convection current.
2. All members should participate in the scientific demonstration
3. Materials for the demonstration should be environmentally friendly and accessible
within the area.
4. You may borrow science equipment, provided that you should submit a letter
enumerating the materials you will be using. The letter should be submitted a day
before the demonstration.
5. Proper attire should be followed in doing the demonstration.
6. The handout should be computerized which follows the guidelines below:
a.6.1 Short Bond paper
a.6.2 Font Style: Arial 14
a.6.3 Attached the handout in a short folder.
a.6.4 Submit 1 day before the demonstration.
a.6.5 Print the rubrics and include in the folder.
7. During the demonstration a video should be taken and submit it in our google
classroom.
8. Read and understand the rubrics for grading.
