STAGING DAILY ACTIVITIES

The daily activity consisted of upgradation of firmware in the devices by
taking “LOGIN” using “SSH” in the Ubuntu server.
Once logged in the device we check for the current version of the firmware
needed to be patched in the config file /etc/ directory.
Command: cat /etc/openwrt_*
Once confirmed, we need to transfer the latest patch file from another
terminal using “SCP” secure copy from the Folder where the file is, to the
device ”/tmp” directory.
We used different system command to upgrade the and also to load the
certificates in the device connected to server through the LINUX command
Line.
We also used to check the NETWORK STATUS using the ping command and
verification of changes using the grep command.

SSD: Activities includes disk management such as managing

the server memory and formatting of disk manually and
through “GUI”.
Using
du –h – To check the mounted disk and take logs and
maintain documentation such as keeping record of the
current session.
To format the SSD and HDD using the ext4 format through
the server.
