• The roller shutter shall stop at a pre-set height controlled by the upper limit switch attached to the motor body.
• Note: Limit switch must be set in advance by SKB installer and the appropriate setting method is indicated on the motor
for reset.
• Clear all obstruction below roller shutter. Ensure there are no objects lying beneath or within the shutter opening.
• Press the downward arrow button switch inside the push button switch box.

• The roller shutter shall stop at a pre-set position controlled by the lower limit switch attached to the motor body.
• Note: Limit switch must be set in advance by SKB installer and the appropriate setting method is indicated on the motor
for reset.
• The roller shutter can stop at any position when it is ascending or descending.
• Press the center button switch inside the push button switch box and the roller shutter shall stop automatically.
• Once the roller shutter is at a ‘stop’ position, the shutter is ready to open or close the roller shutter.
• The roller shutter motor is equipped with a chain link to ascend the shutter manually when there is a power failure.
• Please ensure the direction of pulling the chain link is correct when operating the override chain.
• Note: Endless chain link comes with direction restrictions. When using manual override chain and the bottom panel
position overruns the initial setting, the limit switch must be reset following the instructions on the motor.
• When ascending the roller shutter using the manual override chain, please ensure the bottom bar does not
overrun into the shutter box. You can do this by slowing down the ascending speed as the shutter is
approaching full opening clear height and stop pulling at the full opening clear height.
• When desired height is achieved, just release the chain or crank, the roller shutter shall stay as it is.
• The operating mechanism is equipped with a brake release level. Gently pull the brake release lever with
minimum force downward, the shutter shall descend by gravity using its own weight.
• When required height is achieved, release the lever and the shutter shall stop automatically.
