Course Objectives:
1. To acquaint the students with the basics of Business Regulatory Environment.
2. To help them understand the need for environment scanning in a competitive business
environment, the regulators and licenses required by multiple sectors, the issues and
timelines to be adhered to, compliances and penalties business may attract on account of
non-compliance.
3. Evaluate the existing systems, requirements and procedural frameworks of business
regulatory environments across sectors.
4. In order to migrate from teaching to learning and get a fair understanding of the regulatory
issues, pace of regulatory change, the students will be able to assess the impact of taxation,
relevant laws and regulatory bodies.
Course Learning Outcomes:
● To demonstrate ability to interpret legal provisions and its implication in Business
Environment (PLO1a).
● To undertake research and study case studies using various management
tools and techniques for finding solutions and encourage publications (PLO2b).
● To develop strategies after analyzing the role of regulatory frameworks, licenses
required for businesses in order to foster entrepreneurial zeal and better
understanding of business functions . (PLO3b).
