Accomplishment Report
I attended and participated on a five-day seminar/training on “Transitioning from
Homebased to In-Person Teaching: FOCUSED ON DISABILITY SENSITIVITY,
SPED TEACHING APPROACHES, AND FILIPINO SIGN LANGUAGE at Applied
Nutrition Center, Banilad, Cebu City, from August 8-12, 2022 with an accumulated 40 hours
of attendance.
The objectives of this seminar are to: a) foster understanding on disability issues and
reasonable accommodation aligned with policies and issuances, b) develop appropriate and
effective ways to meet the needs of learners with difficulties/disabilities, c) communicate and
relate properly to people with disabilities, and d) display disability sensitivity in interacting
with people and materials.
