MINUTES ON
2020 AT THE NIB CONFERENCE ROOM

On Wednesday, 30th September 2020, an internal meeting was held amongst the International
Curricula Schools (ICS)Team.

In all, nine (9) members attended the meeting.

OPENING

The meeting commenced at 10: 00 am after the Private and International Curricular Schools
Liaison stated that the purpose of the meeting was to give an updates on action items from the
previous meeting with Dr. Ampadu. Team members had completed the following tasks;
1. Bright supported Sika in compiling data for private and ICS schools’ registration request.
2. Ms. Joyce met with representatives from the trinity college with Ms. Cecilia serving as an
assistant.

An update on school registration requests was given by Sika Nartey on the number of schools
running the GES curricular and the international curricular. Ms Joyce emphasised on finding out
the number of schools that NaSIA was expecting to receive Covid-19 plans forms from and this
was tasked to Sika Nartey. Following that, Ms. Joyce was in charge of updating the list of
schools that had requested for registration.

The Private and International Curricular Schools Liaison also clarified the processes involved in
the registration of a school to all team members in order to prevent conflicting responses to
calls that come through. Edward Larbi also gave updates on invoices by stating that 30 invoices
had been issued as at this day.

In further deliberations, Ms. Love Ntumy was introduced to the team as a new member. The
following new roles were assigned to team members;

1. Bright and Hanifa will produce a work sheet by the close of the day of private and
international schools who have registered or not, have been inspected or not, and those
who have submitted their Covid-19 Plans.
2. Mr. Kumah will lead a training of all lead inspectors on Monday (4 th October, 2020) for
the review of Covid-19 plans submitted from both Private and International schools.
3. Ms. Joyce will to support Ms. Cecilia in sending out invoices.
4. Ms. Cecilia and Love will work on guidelines for proposal to UNESCO on the topic ‘How
schools should be covid-19 complaint’.
