GUIDELINES ON THE CONDUCT OF 2020 SCHOOL-BASED IN-SERVICE


TRAINING (INSET)

1. As an institutionalized activity of the Department of Education which


primarily aims to enhance teachers’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes, the
Schools Division of Zamboanga Sibugay announces the conduct of School-
Based In-Service Training (INSET) on December 14-18, 2020.

2. Anent, this division hereby issues the guidelines on the conduct of the
activity for your reference and guidance.

3. All concerned personnel are hereby reminded to adhere to the No


Approved Training Design, No Conduct of Training policy.

4. For immediate compliance and widest dissemination.

GUIDELINES ON THE CONDUCT OF 2020 SCHOOL-BASED IN-SERVICE


TRAININGS (INSET)

1. All schools shall have the same INSET topics based on the attached
INSET Matrix (Enclosure 2).

2. All schools shall prepare Training Design (Enclosure 3) and other


supporting documents based on the Training Preparedness Checklist
(Enclosure 4).

3. District Learning and Development (L&D) Committee shall evaluate


the INSET documents submitted by the schools vis-à-vis Training
Preparedness Checklist prior to submission to the Division Office for
approval.

4. Health and safety protocols must be strictly observed during conduct


of INSET in compliance to the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF)
guidelines.

5. Training Materials can be downloaded in this link:

6. Deadline for submission of Training Designs and other documents to


the Division Office shall be on December 11, 2020.

TRAINING DESIGN TEMPLATE


TITLE OF THE TRAINING: Five (5) Days School-Based In-Service Training (INSET)

PROPOSED DATE AND VENUE: December 14-18, 2020 at Sanghanan Elementary
School-Grade 2 Room
TOTAL PROPOSED BUDGET: Php 5,000.00

I. RATIONALE:
As pandemic arises nowadays, government has implemented the new normal
of educational systems. The system of education has to respond by developing
remote learning plans that include multi-channelled strategies with a combination
of different learning modalities such as modular print, radio, TV, internet,
computers and mobile phones. To continue the process of education of the
learners, hence, teachers are provided trainings to utilize these new modes of
learning deliveries to observe distant learning to learners.

II. TERMINAL AND ENABLING OBJECTIVES:


1. Promotes awareness and knowledge on the guidelines of classroom
assessment as stated in DepEd Order no. 8, s. 2015 and DepEd Order No. 31,
s. 2020.
2. Implements effective assessment practices that are in the line with the
principles of the policy found in DepEd Order No. 8, s. 2015 and DepEd
Order No. 31, s. 2020.
3. Adopts policies on Child Protection and Anti-Bullying.
4. Identifies issues and concerns happening in education of learners where CPP
and Anti-Bullying will but-in.
5. Takes actions and measures to address child protection and bullying at school
level and system of management.
6. Raises awareness on mental Health and Wellness.
7. Designs a plan for Blended

III. TRAINING CONTENT and METHODOLOGIES:

This 2020 School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) contains the rationale of


the conduct of the five (5) days training and workshop as listed in the following
phases:

Before Phase:
1. Planning on the conduct of the training
2. Materials needed for the training
3. Venue of the training

During Phase:
1. Opening Program
2. Facilitators conduct plenary sessions.
3. Facilitators group the participants for workshop on specific topics.
4. Presentations of outputs
5. Open Forum

After Phase:
1. Closing Program
2. Giving of certificates of recognition
