VACANCY

PROJECT ENGINEER
(CIVIL ENGINEER)
Nelspruit Office (Mpumalanga)
Minimum requirements:
- BSc Civil Engineering degree or an equivalent qualification.
- Five years minimum relevant design and project management experience (roads and
water projects).
- A minimum of two years managerial and administration experience.
- Professional registrations (Pr. Eng or Pr. Tech Eng and Pr. CPM) will be an added
advantage.

Knowledge, Skills and competency:


- Proficiency in the use of Civil Designer, AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
- Extensive experience in the design and management of roads, water and sewer
projects.
- Must have project management and construction supervision skills.
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, planning and organizing skills, detail oriented
and team player.
- Managerial and leadership skills.

Key performance areas and Responsibilities:


- Office management and administration.
- Preliminary investigations and detail design.
- Production of construction and as-built drawings.
- Tender documentation.
- Management of roads, water and sewer projects.
- Construction supervision, supervision of subordinate staff members and contractors.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and other stake holders on project related issues.
- Compile the relevant documentation for proposals and tendering purposes.
- Provide monthly/quarterly and annual reports.
- Ensure company compliance with all statutory requirements.

Salary: Negotiable.
