Reflective Summary
Do you feel that this collection of work really reflects your
abilities and what you have achieved this year through the
LDM course? Why or why not?

In the midst of pandemic, strengthening the value of education

is one of the major challenges I encountered. By considering
the situations we have at this moment, new normal should be
embraced. So, I feel that this collection of work really reflects
my abilities and what you have achieved this year through the
LDM course. It is a great help on my part because this will
determine what I have achieved as an educator in imparting
the knowledge and skills to my students. It gives me an insight
on what to prepare for this distant learning in this new normal
situation. It helps me gained knowledge, skills and mindset that
are necessary in this new teaching and learning way. Despite
of the difficulties and obstacles, the teachers encountered in
this new situation, this LDM course helped me manage my
teaching- learning process in the modalities. Considering the
objectives and goals of LDM2 make me realized that this is well
designed to produce better alternatives in reaching out my
students. My learners are my primary source of my motivation
in this course. I want to give the best that I can to deliver quality
education and to reach them out using alternative modes of
learning. This is for me, is somehow positive that may result to
providing better outputs. The least I can do, is to provide them
with the best resources we can give them in order for them
continue their dreams of becoming someone useful and
efficient someday.

Weekly Home Learning Plan helps parents to have the idea regarding the
topic being taught to the learners. This was given to the parents during the
distribution of modules. As a teacher of students undergoing modular
learning, it is difficult for us to help parents in teaching their children. Aside
from modules, we also provide different activities to assess the students
learning difficulty, to help the learners in this difficult times and also monitor

their progress. With these strategies, we were able to help our learners in any

One of the things I consider in the preparation of my lesson is the individual
differences of my students. With this, I am providing different assessments

and instructions to suit different types of learners. I make sure that review is
given to check their idea about previously learned concept before starting a
new lesson. I also localized my lesson for my students to relate and develop
nationalism. Likewise, alignment of the lesson with the MELCs is always
taken into account in all of my preparation.

A n n o ta ti o n

It is very important that all of the activities and assessment are aligned with
the learning competencies to make sure that the result leads to a quality
education. I also make sure that the instruction given are clear and valuable.

11
Every distribution, we make sure to give the parents WHLP aside from the
modules per se. Including the MELC in each assessment that gives the
students awareness of what they are answering aside from the rubrics and
WHLP given as their guide in answering.

ARTIFACT:LESSON PLANS(WEEKLY HOME LEARNING PLAN)
For my modular class, it is important as a teacher to prepare and utilize an
assessment tool that will give feedback on student’s progress in my subject
since, I cannot see the learner face to face. Objective and performance-
based assessment tools guided by the most essential learning competencies
were administered to the learners.

RESOURCES
To help my students who are modular learners, I made video lessons and
powerpoint presentation and have them posted in our group chats. This way,
I can help my students to learn the lesson as this would address both the
vìsual and auditory learners. I see to it that all the video lessons are
entertaining so that my students are motivated to study the lessons. These
video lessons that are posted in our GC effectively helped my students in
this technological era knowing that most of them have cellular phones that
they can make use in accessing their lessons.

schoolinformed the parents regarding the performance and needs of their
chidren, messenger chats, texts or phone call were directed to the concerned
parents. This way, teacher and parents had an open line of communïcation in
reminding students about their required tasks and submission. This has also
