Los Doce Apóstoles, Australia

The Twelve Apostles is a collection of limestone stacks off the shore of Port Campbell
National Park, by the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia.

Their proximity to one another has made the site a popular tourist attraction. Seven of
the original eight stacks remain standing at the Twelve Apostles viewpoint, after one
collapsed in July 2005.Though the view from the promontory by the Twelve Apostles
never included twelve stacks, additional stacks—not considered part of the Apostles
group—are located to the west within the national park.

The Twelve Apostles were formed by erosion around 15 to 5 million years ago. The harsh
and extreme weather conditions from the Southern Ocean gradually erode the soft
limestone to form caves in the cliffs, which then become arches that eventually collapse,
leaving rock stacks up to 50 m (160 ft) high.

Australian climate.
Australia's climate varies widely, although most of Australia is desert or semi-arid – 40% of
the territory is covered by dunes. Only the southeastern and southwestern corners have a
temperate climate and moderately fertile soils. The northern part of the country has a
tropical climate: part tropical rainforest, part grassland, and part desert.

Rainfall is highly variable, with frequent droughts, caused, among other factors, in part by
the El Niño southern oscillation. Occasionally dust storms cover a region or sometimes
several states, and there are reports of occasional large tornadoes. Rising salinity levels
and desertification in some areas are degrading the landscape of Western Australia
Australian clothing
The typical Australian suit or "larriki" is made up of pants that are usually dark in color
and follow the Oxford style of jeans because of the model itself, not the fabric. He
wears an indistinct color shirt and a short, long-sleeved jacket with an open neck on
top. The black hat is characteristic for this suit. It is common to see him also carry a
pipe.
This has been chosen as the typical costume of Australia since it shows the belief in
itself that the nation has, moving away from political issues. It seeks to relate the
clothing and this ideological movement with the need to show a new face of society
willing to fight for the country, offering its part from the place that it belongs to.
When is it advisable to visit that country?
perfectas.
