NSTP TASK 1

RALPH THEODORE QUINTANA

BSHM 1.2
What does it mean to be a good Filipino Citizen

Noypi is a song that captures the Filipinos' will to survive and overcome obstacles. You could view
this from several angles depending on the type of person you are. This song's author included a
number of symbolisms, which might lead some listeners to believe that the message is meaningless
because some of the concepts are implied rather than stated in the lyrics. One view is that
because the song inflates Filipino pride, other Filipinos may believe they are superior to other
nations and act haughtily as a result. This song supports nationalism's virtues. A line from the song
begins, "Hoy pinoy ako! "Buo aking loob may agimat ang dugo ko," a song that displays Filipino
pride. Being a Filipino is exceptional, hence Filipinos should not be embarrassed of their nationality,
according to this statement. The value of resilience can also be noticed in the song since Filipinos
always have a grin on their cheeks, no matter how numerous or difficult challenges they are
dealing with. When they fall, they take the challenge and get back up.

Good citizenship fosters patriotism, making the ostensibly impossible process of nation-building
simpler. Even the underprivileged, the young, and the elderly may aid in the development of
their country via good citizenship. Additionally, good citizenship promotes togetherness.
Despite our differences, our common beliefs as Filipinos may be a powerful force for bringing
us together as a people. Our country is frequently in crisis. And people are hurting right now.
Being decent citizens will enable us to contribute to the solution rather than the issue. A good
Filipino citizen is one who contributes to society in a thoughtful and active way. whomever is in
charge of upholding his responsibilities to the state and society. the person who has the
qualities of civility, thoughtfulness, and respect for parents, elders, and other people. the
person who upholds promptness, punctuality, and morality.
