Job Role
Building customer base in given territory
This is not a typical sales role. The products are highly technical. During customer
visit, you have to go to the inside of plants, check the process parameters, sizing
selection of valves, calculating Reynolds Numbers etc. This is a pure technical role.
KRAs
Identifying potential customers in the territory and making robust database
Finding the decision makers and visiting them physically
Finding out their requirements, present installation details, problems they are
facing with existing valves, target price etc.
[Building long terms relationship with them will be foremost priority]
Presenting product details to address their problems. Customers’ problems may be
technical or commercial, Quality related, or Delivery related etc.
[Company will train you thoroughly on the products, technicalities, applications,
benefits, industry suitability, pricing etc. In critical points of discussion, you will
have freedom to arrange a conference call between customer and your senior, for
first 3~6 months]
Making visit plan, reports, MIS of the meetings, area coverage, enquiries, progress,
closures, repeat orders in the given formats.
Desired Profile
BE Mechanical, Chemical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or Production
Willing to travel and meeting new people
Good verbal and written communication (English + Local like Gujarati or Tamil)
