Growth of Bacterial Culture is defined as an increase in the number of bacteria. Upon placing our
bacteria in a medium that provides all of the nutrients that are necessary for their growth, the
population of bacterial growth increases. Though, the bacterium that we gathered do not immediately
reproduced thereupon placing it on our medium. We store it on a room with warm temperature for
almost 1 week. In a long time, you’ll be greeted by an amazing variety of bacteria, and molds. You likely

see more and larger colonies over the next few days. Bacteria, like what you’re growing, will often stink
and make their presence known after a short time.

We had the opportunity to see our collected bacteria that has been cultured on. Using Microscope we
viewed it one by one. We used some laboratory slides to hold a specimen so there could be a stain for
examining under the microscope.

DRAINAGE. SINK. TOILET BOWL. GROUND. DUST

Upon seeing all the microbes using the microscope, we saw different looking colonies. Some basic
shapes we’ve observed was circular, and some are in irregular shapes. Some of the surface of the colony
appears and somehow the opacity was transparent and translucent.
