Earth and Life Science

- Earth and Life sciences cover all aspects of life on earth such as the complex and
dynamic processes in solid earth, the oceans, the atmosphere, the natural world,
organisms, including humans.

- Performance Standard – Recognize the uniqueness of Earth, being the only

planet in the solar system with necessary to support life.

Content Standard -
-The formation of the universe and the solar system.
-The subsystems (geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere) that
make up the earth.
-The earth’s internal structure.

1. Earth’s Origin
2. The origin and environment of formation of minerals and rocks.
3. Geological Processes.
4. Different hazards caused by geological processes.
