GREATER MANCHESTER POLICE has
announced a two weeks crack down on
antisocial behaviour on public transport.

The forces TRAVELSAFE unit, which works in

partnership with Transport for Greater
Manchester, Bus companies and Greater
Manchester combined authority. is targeting
antisocial behaviour and low level crime
following a 50% rise in incidents across the
network in the last year, most of those in and

The two weeks which will run from next week

until the 19th November, will see an increase in
enforcement officers on trams, buses and at
stations as well as the use of undercover staff
and increased CCTV surveillance across the
