Greater Manchester Police will conduct a two-week crackdown on antisocial behavior on public transportation in response to a 50% rise in incidents over the last year. The TRAVELSAFE unit, which includes police and transportation organizations, will increase enforcement officers on trains, buses, and at stations and utilize undercover staff and expanded CCTV surveillance across the network during the crackdown from next week until November 19th. The goal is to target antisocial behavior and low-level crime that has been affecting passengers.
