SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER - MODIG MACHINE TOOL (Kalmar, Sweden)

Modig Machine Tool faces a major global expansion. To succeed growing in a fast but stable way, we are now
looking for a Supply Chain Manager.

We offer an assignment that covers the entire chain from purchasing, production planning, warehouse/inventory
to the shipping. The role is new and challenging, the work is independent with the ability to impact the content
of the position. You will be responsible for a department which consist of four (4) direct reports and all together
ten (10) committed team members. The Supply Chain Manager will be part of the management group.

The work will be varied with several contacts in an international business environment. You will create well
defined plans and carry it out together with your team to ensure you meet delivery times and defined objectives
within the budget. You understand that risk management is necessary dealing with unexpected and changed
circumstances.

Our expansion requires high demands on leadership and creating the right conditions for our employees to further
develop and grow. Part of the job will be to lead the procurement function and its further development, to source
and develop our suppliers and partners. Ensure efficiency and reduce costs on the purchasing and inventory side.
You will also organize and establish methods and structures in planning. Optimizing the flow and inventory in our
current two warehouses is critical for a smooth and stable execution of our projects. With a strong customer focus
along with a both operational and strategic work you will have the right prerequisites to be successful together
with the whole Modig team.

Supply Chain Manager requirements:

 University degree of Master of Science in Business and Economics or in related field

 5-10 years broad experience within Supply Chain from a global technical manufacturing environment
 > 5 years of experience in a Manager position
 Excellent communication and leadership skills
 Profound analytics and strategical planning skills
 Result driven and quality oriented
 Comfortable working with ERP system and Microsoft applications
 Very good verbal and written communication skills in English
