2. Record your findings below
The first thing he does as soon as he walks into the classroom is greet the students and ask them
if the day is over. In the actual lessons, he always uses his three languages which are the native
languages of the students - English, Tagalog and Kapampangan. This will help students
understand the lesson better. He also tells some jokes to bring the environment to life and asks
students for their opinions and experiences so they can participate in the actual lessons. I can say
that the class is fun and relaxing at the same time.

Learning Episode 1 The Teacher We Remember
• Review the qualities of good teachers as contained in documents such as the PPST
and SEATCF and the Code of Ethics for Professional Teachers.
• View on YouTube two TEDx talks on “What Makes a Good Teacher Great?”-
Azul Terronez and “The Power of a Teacher”-Adam Saenz.
From the PPST and SEATCF that you read; what competencies does a great
teacher possess?
The fourth skill, "Becoming a better teacher every day," was the skill that caught my attention. No
one is perfect, but I believed that if we change and strive to be better, we can gradually improve
ourselves to better ourselves. , “Good teachers regularly collaborate with peers.” For me, being
open to collaboration is another form of learning. That doesn't mean you lack knowledge. It
simply means using other people, such as co-workers, to know correctly how to use and collect
information and data
From the TEDx videos that you viewed; what competencies does a great teacher possess?
Students value professors who exhibit their expertise in a way that speaks to them. Real-world
applications are made between the classroom and the outside world by excellent teachers.
Terronez discovered that exceptional instructors don't just exist in their classrooms; they also have
a real life outside of the classroom.
Are these competencies limited only to professional competencies?
No, it's a skill that even ordinary people can learn. Our skills know no bounds. Why limit it when
only those who want to improve it are free to use it?
you are both important. Choosing between the two is like choosing between water and food.
These are essential in our daily lives, such as personal qualities and professional skills. Personal
qualities include good communication skills. This is especially important for teachers. For us to be
understood, we must learn to communicate properly so that our students can fully understand the
lessons we are teaching. Next are professional skills. Through this skill we can improve better.
Who are the teachers that we remember most?
For me I remember the teachers that give a good and positive vibe, the one that tells
jokes in class, kind, considerate, teaches well, appreciate the effort and hardships of
the students, the one that listens to the students suggestions, opinions both
academically and personal concerns. And lastly the teacher that treat the students
like their own child, sibling, or part of their family.
Which personal traits do I possess? Not possess? Where do I need improvement in?
I am a highly driven individual that is ready to learn and offer anything only to advance and
become more qualified. With my enthusiasm for teaching, I can also motivate students.
The learners look up to us and view us as their second parents who will mentor and assist
them in those areas of their lives, therefore I need to have great abilities in dealing with
their physical, emotional, and mental difficulties.
