B. How Physical Education affects your daily lives?

Physical Education affects my daily lives, by doing


physical activities it helps me improve my
cardiovascular health and develop my muscular strength.
It encourages me live with a healthy lifestyle or
healthy habits. Physical Education provides
psychological benefits including it reduced stress,
anxiety and depression. It also helps me develop in
managing my emotions and it increases my self-
confidence and self-esteem.

ACTIVITY 1

F 1. Ability of the body to react to the interval of


time between the signal to respond (stimulus).

F 2. Ability of the body to perform task vigorously


with alertness and without feeling tired.

PFT 3. An identification of strength and weaknesses in


terms of fitness.

F 4. Ability of them used to release maximum force in


the shortest possible time.

PFT 5. Sit and reach measures the flexibility of the


lower back and hamstring muscles.

Curl-Up 1. To measure the strength and endurance of


the abdominal muscle.

Shuttle Run 2. To measure how fast can a person change


positions, movements, or direction with quickness and
lightness.

Stork Balance 3. BALANCE

Sit and Reach 4. To measure the flexibility of lower


back and hamstring muscles.
3-minute Step Test 5. A general endurance test done by
stepping up and down on a bench.

1. In your own understanding, what is Physical


education?

For me, Physical education aims to improve the skills


of students when it comes to exercises and how to keep
ourselves healthy and keep ourselves fit.

2. Explain Physical Fitness and give 4 components and


why those components important in our daily routine.

Physical Fitness it is the ability of people to do all


our tasks everyday with enough strength to do so.

Cardiorespiratory fitness, Power, Flexibility, Speed it


is important in our daily routine because in our daily
living we really need enough strength in doing or task.

3. What are the difference between zumba dance and


dance exercise/aerobics?

Zumba dance it is done usually by the elderly and zumba


is good for those people who love dancing, while
aerobics it is done with high intensity and it really
burn a lot of fats so fast and it is a full body
workout and gives us more muscular body.

4. Sight different importance of dance exercise and


explain each.

Improves strength, by doing dace exercise it


strengthens our body and can boost our appetite to do
our task everyday with full energy.
Helps boost our confidence, if we are already used in
doing dance exercise it will boost our confidence and
not ashamed in doing it.

It keeps or body healthy, if we are doing dance


exercise we can keep our body healthy and fit.

5. Explain the questions

A.”So if I do exercise, I can eat whatever I want and


like?”

No, even if we are doing exercise everyday we still


need to choose what to eat it should healthy or
nutritious foods do that we can keep our body always
healthy, keep ourselves away from any illness and keep
ourselves fit.

B. How can I stay motivated?

We can stay motivated by thinking on the best outcome


that we desire in doing everything we want to do.

6. How Physical education develops a total person?

Physical education develops students personally and


socially. It develops the skill, knowledge, attitudes
of the students and for the students to enjoy a
lifetime of healthful physical activity. It also builds
the student confidence and competence in facing
challenges.

7. In your own understanding, explain the goals of


Physical education.

The goal of physical education is to let the student


live with healthy lifestyle, and teach us on how to
keep ourselves healthy and fit.
8. Compute the BMI and give the meaning of it.

A. W=42

H=1.81

42/ (1.81)

42/3.27= 12.84 (underweight)

B. W=105

H=1.97

105/ (1.97)

105/3.76= 27.92 (over weight)

9. Which is better for weight loss, Cardio or Aerobics?

For me, aerobics is better for weight loss because by


doing aerobics it burn more calories from your body.

10. Is zumba a good way to lose weight? Explain your


answer.

Yes, because when you do zumba you will just simply


dance and you will not notice that you are already
burning a lot of calories. And the thing is it is very
enjoying doing zumba, and you are not making yourself
too miserable in doing weight loss.
