Professional Experience
2007-2011 Fellowship Bible Church Sr. High Pastor

2005-2007

FBC Umatilla and Northpointe Fellowship Student Pastor

07-11: For four years, I was part of a student ministry team that worked with 300 students. I led the Sr. High program and was responsible for overseeing the support team as we focused on creating a weekly program, student leadership, small groups, and developed local and global mission trips. My focus for each of these environments was to develop the students understanding that God not only wanted to change their lives but to use them to Be The Change in their world. 05-07: I served here for three years as the youth pastor over 190 students. I was the only staff working with these students. Here, I established a student leadership team, led a building renovation for after school programs, established a branch of S.W.A.T ministries, and trained adults and students to serve as mentors and small group leaders. I also navigated the students through a church split. During this time, I solidified the youth program at FBC and started a new program at the Northpointe church plant. 03-05: I was in charge of all youth and childrens events. I created a student leadership team and developed an adult leadership team. I was also responsible for coaching the teachers for the students and childrens worship environments. I also led building renovations for both ministry areas.

Be The Change ministry environments

Each area is a key component used to develop students in their faith and finding their present and future purpose in life.
Receive Through creative and interactive teaching, the students hear the Gospel message woven throughout Scripture and understand its relevance in their lives and the world around them. They learn that this Gospel of grace not only changes their lives but also calls them to Be The Change in their world. Gods love changes us to be the Gospel in other peoples lives. Live With The students cant stop at just hearing the message. It is critical that they be plugged into smaller groups of students and adults. These groups are safe places for students to struggle, share, and support each other as they learn how to take the messages into real life. It is vital that students learn to live in a community centered around the Gospel where they are free to love and be loved by others. Live Out The students then learn that God has given them a purpose in life now. They must be given opportunities to live out the Gospel and Be The Change in the world around them. In these local and global experiences, the students learn how to live out the Gospel in the world and apply this selfless, servant attitude in their everyday life.
