Abstract: [Font Size: 14, Time New Roman, Align left]

An abstract is a greatly condensed version of a longer piece of writing that highlights the major
points covered, and concisely describes the content and scope of the writing. It gives readers a
chance to quickly see what the main contents. Mostly it will have the sections of introduction,
methods, results and conclusion summary of a piece of writing. It also enable readers to decide
whether the work is of interest for them.

Using key words in an abstract is important because of today’s electronic information systems. A
web search will find an abstract containing certain key words.

A good abstract has the following qualities:

 uses one or more well developed paragraphs: these are unified, coherent, concise
 uses an introduction/body/conclusion structure which presents the purpose, results,
conclusions, and recommendations
 follows the chronology of the project work
 provides logical connections between the information included
 adds no new information, but simply summarizes
 often uses passive verbs to downplay the author and emphasize information

[Font Size: 12, Time New Roman, Justify]

Remark: This section of abstract is not more than 250 words.

Table of contents [Font Size: 14, Time New Roman, Center]

Table of contents is an organized listing of the chapters and major sections of your document.
Readers will immediately be able to see how your manuscript is organized and then skip down to
sections that are most relevant to them.  A clear, concise, and well formatted table of content is
the first indicator of a good thesis/project paper organized.

CHAPTER ONE
1. Introduction
1.2. Background of the Study
From the beginning of students’ project work, there are opening paragraphs, students should
briefly introduce their project work topic, explain its relevance, and tell readers why they should
be interested in it. State their clear research question or problem. In the end they can put to
include a short summary of how they’re going to answer or solve it in further their study.
Students’ project work demonstrates their mastery of a particular subject area and your ability to
independently create new, adopt, modification of scientific knowledge. When writing your
project work, your information retrieval skills are developed and their facility for critical and
analytical thinking, problem solving and argumentation is strengthened. All of which are skills
required for success in their future working life.
[Font Size: 12, Time New Roman, Justify]

Remark: In this case, the introduction and background is not more than 1 pages.

1.3. Problem of the Statement

It’s a problem statement concisely details a vision and method that will be used to solve a
problem. Generally, this section can show a broad overview of the questions that will be
addressed in a given area of research/project. It outlines the description of the issues, includes a
vision, suggests the method used to solve the problem, and provides a hypothesis.
[Font Size: 12, Time New Roman, Justify]

Remark: This section of the problem of the statement is not more than 150words.

1.4. Objectives of the study

1.4.1. General Objective of the Study
1.4.2. Specific Objectives of the Study
The general objective of the study states that what the students expect to achieve in general
terms. Specific objectives break down the general objective into smaller, logically connected
parts that systematically address the various aspects of the problem.
[Font Size: 12, Time New Roman, Justify]

1.5. Scope and Limitations of the Study

Scope broadly refers to the extent to which you plan to study your project work. This is done
mainly to keep your project work practical and feasible.
[Font Size: 12, Time New Roman, Justify]

Remark: This section of the scope and limitations of the study is not more than 150 words.

1.6. Organization of project work

The general structure of a project work is explained/listed at contents of project work. A project
work includes the following ingredients in the given order: from chapter one up to last chapter
and their subtopics, references and possible appendices and also should be included.

CHAPTER TWO

2. Literature Review
It is a conceptual framework should briefly present the relevant literature and explain how it can
address a particular topic. What should you indicate? Mention different perspectives in the
literature that are relevant to your subject if you’ll discuss them in you project work. It’s useful to
define and present some key concepts that you can use as effective analytical tools in your paper.
A thorough literature is the foundation of any scientific paper and should always be the first step
of the writing process. There is no correct or standard number of references to be used. Not
quantity but quality and relevance of the references you use are important.
[Font Size: 12, Time New Roman, Justify]

Remark: In this case, the literature review section is not more than 2 pages.

CHAPTER THREE

3. Detail Design and Methdology of project work

A design project work, is a framework for answering students’ project work questions using
empirical, experimental, simulation, manufacturing and assessment data. Creating a research
design means making decisions about:
 Thesis overall aims and approach
 The type of project/research design students will use
 How students’ll select participants or subjects
 Students’ desing, experimental, simulation, manufacturing, assessment data collection
methods
 The procedures students will follow to do their project work
 Their data analysis Methdology

CHAPTER FOUR

4. Analyses and propose solutions of Project Work

To analyze means to break a topic or concept down into its parts in order to inspect and
understand it, and to restructure those parts in a way that makes sense to researhcers and
readers. This section of analysis is the most crucial part of any research/project. Making
analysis summarizes collected data, design, manufactur, simulation and experment. It involves
the interpretation of project work gathered out put through the use of either analytical,
expepermental, simulation, manucactur, emperical and logical reasoning to determine patterns
of results, relationships or trends.

CHAPTER FIVE

5. Results and Discussions

5.1. Results
5.2. Discussions
It’s the analysis or discussion part of your work. It’s the most important part of your project work
because you make all of your key points in it. Use analytical tools, empirical materials,
simulation model and experimental results. Discuss specific approaches and concepts, make
relevant comparisons, argue for your interpretations, or do other things to end up with a strong
section.

CHAPTER SIX

6. Conclusion and Recommendations

6.1. Conclusion
6.2. Recommendations for Future Work
In a concluding paragraph of your project work, you need to sum up all the key points that you
made. What did you find in your study or work? Think about everything that you’ve learned in
the process and determine how it relates to your research problem or project work question.
This section will be given to the following kinds of questions:
 What are the main results of the study and what new information has been obtained?
 To what extent do the results support or differ from earlier research results?
 To what extent can the results be generalized?
 How reliable are the results and what restrictions are there connected with the research?
 How can the results be made use of?
 What kinds of topics and questions arise for further study as a result of your project
work?
Generally, this section is very similar to the analysis and discussion sections. But no numerical
results, tables, figures are to be presented, the ideas are expressed in written text only, just using
fewer words.

REFERENCES
In this section of reference you should be included that are a complete list of sources, both
primary and secondary, which you use to write all the sections of your thesis. Students need to
include every in-text citation in the reference list. There should be no source in reference list
that students did not use within the text. This means that sources that if students read, but ended
up not using them in the text, then they must not be included.

Using tools are:

 Mendeley Cite.
 EndNote.

The appendices contain all such clarifying information that does not serve any purpose if
presented in the actual text.
 Typical appendices are questionnaires used in the project work, outlines for semi-
structured interviews, and, extra and supportive drawings, tables, figures and detailed
data descriptions.
 The appendices are the place for material that takes up too much space in the body of the
project work (e.g. big size design model, figures, tables and long mathematical
expressions).
 In the text, there must be a reference to all appendices.
 The appendices are letters consecutively.
 In the table of contents, the appendices are given a title describing their contents.
