    What is Theory?
    According to Karl Popper:
    Theory is crystallization of view point.
    It tells what,why and what ought to be.
    -A theory is an abstract generalization about some
    phenomenon.
    According to Stella Cottrell:
    Theory is set of abstract ideas that have not been fully
    explored. It is an attempt to provide an explanation or a
    prediction or likely outcome.
    Andrew Heywood:
    A theory is an explanatory proposition, an idea or a set of
    ideas that in some way, seek to impose order or meaning
    upon phenomena.A theory is conceptual framework.
