CASE STUDY FOR TODDLERS:

This study is on a 2.5 years old girl,named Unaiza. She lives at


home with her parents . She is developing normally but she is
overweight . Unaiza likes to eat all the time healthy or junk food.
She likes to eat chocolates which could be a reason of her
overweight. Mostly she eats healthy foods, Fries are her fav which
she eats after every one day (high calorie fast food and junk food).
She likes to play games and very active.

Toddlers need between 1,000 and 1,400 calories a day, depending on their age, size, and
physical activity level (most are considered active).

CONDITIONS:
According to WHO Unaiza is overweight with comparison to her age
group. She is active takes part in every activity , healthy eating
TREATMENT:

Eat 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day. Eat lean proteins such as meat, fish, eggs, beans, pulses
and lentils. Cut down on saturated fat (found in processed meats, pies, cakes and biscuits). Cut down on
sugary foods such as biscuits and cakes

SUPPLEMENTS:
No need for supplements

DIETARY GUIDLINES:
As our patient is over weighted give her Low amount of sugar in daily diets.
Give fruits and vegetables which is are high in iron and calcium which is
good for toddlers body and bones development
