Q2:

Mr. Ali Azmat is the owner of D-Mart. He needs an Inventory Management System for his mart. Before
the development of the project, he briefed all the requirements to the technical team. Furthermore, he
informed the team that he will not be available during the development of the software.

As a software engineer, guide and explain the suitable software development model for the above
scenario. Also, discuss the advantages and disadvantages (at least two) of the selected methodology?

ANS:
As Mr. Ali Azmat the owner of D-Mart already briefed all the requirements of Inventory Management
System for his Mart. The suitable model is Waterfall Model in which we use a linear and sequential
approach to the SDLC.

Advantages:
1.Before the next phase of development, each phase must be completed.
2.Suited for smaller projects where requirements are well defined.

Disadvantages:
1.Error can be fixed only during the phase.
2.It is not desirable for complex project where requirement changes frequently.
