This document analyzes bibliographic data from proceedings of the International Conference of the Learning Sciences (ICLS) and the Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) conference to understand patterns of authorship, collaboration, citations, and topics over-represented in each conference. It finds differences in international collaborations between the conferences and the most frequently cited authors and external references. It proposes expanding the analysis to additional years and conferences to build automated tools to help explore the data and suggest reviewers and collaboration partners.
