Expectations:

These are subjected to change throughout the 12 weeks in case CEO’s need to
include or exclude expectations from each department. If a member on any department is
not working at any given time for any reason, it is expected that he or she assists the other
departments to ease the workload and make the experience more enjoyable for everyone.
The following list provides detailed functions of every department. It is mandatory that
Department Heads distribute the workload whiting each department evenly.

CEO’s:
1) Attend all meetings with professors.
2) Arrange and direct meetings with Management heads and Vice
Presidents.
3) Be in constant contact with COO to consummate operation
decisions and to revise the Marketing, Human Resources,
Sales, Community Service, and Communications Departments’
activity.
4) Be in constant contact with CFO to consummate financial
decisions.
5) Be in constant contact with CIO’s to consummate webpage and
systematic decisions.
6) Manage any final decision.
7) With the help of Human Resources, solve any problem with
team members.
8) Allocate and distribute positions and workload for departments
and for members of any group.
9) Allocate and distribute the members in the departments.
10) Request funding.
11) Create and manage team contract.
12) Create and supervise “Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form.”

COO and Operations Team:


1) Collect all files from every department and compile.
2) Distribute compiled files to CEO’s
3) Communicate with manufacturers and share quotas with CFO.
4) Distribute compiled files with the Financials Department if
needed.
5) Distribute compiled files with the Information Systems
Departments if needed.
6) Distribute compiled files with Marketing Department if needed.
7) Distribute compiled files with Human Resources Department if
needed.
8) Distribute compiled files with Sales Department if needed.
9) Compile the final progress of the Community Service Project.
10) Distribute compiled files with Communications Department
for presentations.
11) Maintain contact with backup suppliers if problems with first
supplier arise.
12) Document procurement process and maintain control of it
(Placing orders; Secure payments in case of theft or fraud;
Product delivery).
13) Document critical dates of when the products arrive.
14) Distribute the products to the sales points on time.

CFO and Finance Team:


1) Bring all financials to CEO’s for decision making.
2) Bring all financials to COO for documentation.
3) Make the Pro Forma Weekly Statements.
4) Get the information required from the Sales, Operations, and
Marketing Department to include in Start-up Costs.
5) Make the Start-up Costs.
6) Get the information required from the Sales, Operations, and
Marketing Department to include in Balance Sheet.
7) Make a Monthly Balance Sheet.
8) Make Cash Receipts Statement (Divide into 4 Quarters: 3 weeks
per quarter).
9) Make Disbursements Statement (Divide into 4 Quarters: 3
weeks per quarter).
10) Make a Cash Budget Statement (Divide into 4 Quarters: 3
weeks per quarter).
11) Solidify pricing structure.

CIO’s and Information Systems Team:


1) Create Webpage.
2) Assist Communications Department with power points if
needed.
3) Acquire information from Operations Department to include in
the Webpage.
4) Acquire information from Operations Department to include in
Performance Appraisal.
5) Acquire information from Operations Department and Sales
Department to include in Sales tracking.
6) Acquire information from Operations Department, Sales
Department, and Financial Department for Inventory
Tracking.
7) Assist Financial Department with Accounting if needed.
8) File date that will help and drive organization and decision
making (Access; Excel).
9) Put appraisal systems in place when needed (Performance
appraisal, sales tracking, inventory tracking,
financial/accounting).
10) Acquire quotas from Financial Department if needed.
11) Presenting files of Webpages, Power Points, and Systems to
CEO’s before posting or making any final decisions.

VP’s of Marketing and Team:


1) Create and run main event to market the product.
2) Create marketing strategies throughout the 12 weeks.
3) Provide the Operations Department with documented marketing
strategies.
3) Target other colleges.
4) Create new advertisement ideas.
5) Target businesses.
6) Communicate with Financial Department for quotas.
7) Communicate with Sales Department to explain
marketing strategies.
8) Communicate with Information Systems Departments for
Website Advertisement.
9) Creativity concentration to advertise in different channels.

VP of Human resources and Team:


1) Keep the moral of the company up.
2) Assist CEO’s in problem solving amongst members of team.
3) Assist Marketing Department and Sales Department with
communicating with other colleges and businesses.
4) Perform two rounds of Quality of Life Surveys.
5) Perform three rounds of Performance Appraisals.
6) Communicate with Financial Department for quotas needed to
create fun atmospheres during meetings and activities.
7) Communicate with Operations Department for any news,
progression, or problems in the departments.

VP of Sales and Team:


1) Take care and keep track of inventory, sales, and purchases.
2) Develop and renew tasks and deadlines in Microsoft Project.
3) Document all transactions.
4) Transfer all transactions to Operations Department for filing.
5) Communicate with Financial Department for sales/financial
collaboration.
6) Establish relations with other colleges and businesses for further
sales.
7) Communicate with Marketing Department and Human
Resources Department for verifying colleges/businesses
associations.
VP of Community Service and Team:
1) Communicate with Bernon Center for sources of service.
2) Write a one page document describing the logistics of how the
service will be achieved.
3) Provide the document to Operations Department.
4) Provide Operations Department with service information for
documenting.

VP of Communications and Team:


1) Formulate Power Points.
2) Communicate with all departments for information to include in
all Power Points.
3) Transfer all documents and slides to Operations Department for
filing.
4) Meet with CEO’s for project and presentation editing and
affirmation.
5) Speak in actual presentations.
6) Communicate with IT for Website and Power Point
development assistance.
7) Assist in group and department head meetings if
called upon by CEO’s.
8) Assist with artistic creativity and logistics to other departments.
