c. Show appreciation on the importance of the plants by making a slogan

III. Procedure
A. Preliminary Activities:
 Prayer:
The teacher will call one student to lead the prayer.
 Greetings:
The teacher will flash the video entitled “Everybody say hello” and the students will follow
the action song.
 Checking of attendance:
The teacher will see how many participants are already in the meeting and then the teacher
will download the attendance list.

B. Review:
Using the mentimeter.com, the students need to answer the following questions with regards
to their previous topic about “The Five Senses”.

C. Motivation:
 Using PPT, the teacher will flash different kinds of calamities (soil erosion, flood, landslide,
and global warming) and ask the following questions:
1. Why do you think we experience those calamities?
 The teacher will flash the picture of tree planting and ask the following question:
1. Why do we need to plant trees?

D. Discussion:
 The teacher will flash the PPT presentation and will discuss one by one the main parts of a
plant.
1. Roots
2. Stem
3. Leaves
4. Flowers
5. Fruits

E. Generalization
 Using the biorender.com, the students will create an illustration of a plant and label their parts
without error. The students will only have 5 minutes to complete their task. The students will
copy the link of their work and they need to send it on the chat box.
 Afterwards, the teacher will randomly pick 3 students to explain the parts of a plant according
to their work.

F. Application
 Using the Canva application, the students will create their own slogan about their
appreciation on the importance of plants in the everyday life. The students will be given 7
minutes to make their output.
 The students are required to post their Slogan output in their Facebook account in order to
share their importance with other people. The students need to tag their teacher in posting
their output. The students will be given 3 minutes to successfully finish the task.

IV. EVALUATION:
 The teacher will send the link the 10-item quiz of the students using the Microsoft forms.

toy.
 The students need to states the characteristics of a living and non-living things.
 The teacher will give real-time feedback on their works by adding comment in their
output on whiteboard.chat.
