SHEET NO. 4: PROJECTIONS OF POINTS

1. Draw the projections of the following points on the same reference line,
keeping the projectors 50 mm apart.
A, 40 mm above the HP and 25 mm in front of the VP.
B, 15 mm above HP and 50 mm behind the VP.
C, 40 mm below HP and 50 mm behind the VP.
D, 45 mm below the HP and 15 mm in front of the VP.
E, in the HP and 20 in front of the VP.
F, in the HP and 30 mm behind the VP.
G, in the VP and 25 mm below the HP.
H, in the VP and 30 mm above the HP.
P, in both the HP and the VP.

2. A point P is 15 mm above the HP and 20 mm in front of the VP. Another


point Q is 25 mm behind the VP and 40 mm below the HP. Draw the
projections of P and Q keeping the distance between their projectors
equal to 90 mm. Draw the straight lines joining (i) their top views and (ii)
their front views.

3. A point A is in the HP and 30 mm in front of the VP, while the point B is


in the VP and 40 mm above the HP. Draw the projections of points when
the distance between their projectors is 75 mm. Draw the lines joining
their front views and their top views.
