     To ensure that grinders are in good condition and used in a safe manner

    Inspection Criteria Rating Remarks

    Grinders should be in good condition – No damage to


    machine casing, disc, cable and fittings
    Disc should be the correct type for the job –
    cutting/grinding

    Guard in place and not modified.

    Wrench is used to replace the discs.

    PPE (face shield, ear protection, gloves)

    Grinder cable has no damage.

    Grinder complete with handles in use.

    Throttle to stop grinder when not in use.

    Physical inspection done on grinder before use.

    Spark containment

    Average : 2
    Coaching Needed: 1
