MOUNT CARMEL COLLEGE OF CASIGURAN

Casiguran, Aurora
CHAPTER II
MANAGEMENT ASPECT

The management aspect describes how the proposed

business is managed. It incules the discussion on operating
period and operating

Pre-Operating Period
All business currently operating now first made studies
to determine its profitability and security in the future.
For this reason, the researcher deemed it necessary to
conduct a study to evaluate the same in her business. Before
the operation of the business, the very first move of the
proponent will be securing a supply of quail and the
determination of location and construction of the building.
Alongside these, search of employees to hire will also take
place.

Proponent
The proponent of the business is Ms. Aira M. Angara, a
Filipino citizen and resident of Brgy. Marikit Casiguran
Aurora. She is currently a student of Mount Carmel College of
Casiguran taking up the course Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration major in Marketing. She have taken an
interest in the proposed subject not only for the potential
profit in the future but also for the experience of compiling
and study of market in the Casiguran Aurora.
Investor
The proponent is planning to finance the project with
the help of family and personal savings with an amount of
₱900,000.00. Considering the scale of the business and the
amount of quail birds to be purchased by the proponent it can

be said that the amount is reasonable. An additional
₱400,000.00 worth of land will come from the proponent.

Project Promoter
Ms. Aira M. Angara intends to promote a Quail Egg
Production in Casiguran Aurora and neighboring towns if
possible in order to introduce an alternative product against
chicken or ordinary egg.

Operating Period
Due to the nature of the business which is related to
livestock, operation or tending of the quail birds will be
24/7 to make sure that they are well fed and free from
diseases. But normal operation or trade of the company will
only be available to customer from Monday to Saturday every
week of the year. The business will be open at 07:00AM to
05:00Pm. Every day of operation, at around 04:00PM the Quail
farmers are required to check all quails and their food
supply so that in the night there will be no problems.

Form of Business Organization

The proponent decided that the form of business
organization be Sole Proprietorship in order to have full
control and decision of the business. Also for ease of
formation and lack of known partner or investor at the
moment. One other reason is for flexibility of management
aspects where the proponent can instantaneously decide on a
matter without consulting another person thus avoiding delay.
