Selection of resource

From the updated crew list the crew requirements for the next 3 months are ascertained and presented
to operations superintendent/Manager in the last week of the month. These requirements are furnished
on the first Saturday of month in the staff meeting and handed over to crewing department.

1- The crew coordinator to contact recruiting agents abroad and send all the requirements and call
for potential candidates applications.
2- Reviewing the C.V’s and document received from the agents the vessels will be nominated to
potential candidates in consultation with operations superintendent or P/C/E and interview is
arranged with the operations staff for senior officers.
3- After reviewing the C.V of ratings interview will be arranged and conducting by crew
coordinator.
Note: “interview of all the candidate will be conducted within 48 working hours by the above
nominated staff and results to be communicated to the agents.

C.V and other documents of successful candidates to be handed over to the assistant
coordinator for verification and collection of required documents.

C.V of senior officers to be prepared for submission to the unit heads/quality assurance unit

C.V of rating to be filed for record and employee number to be given and Crew inspector to be
updated.

Upon receipt of approved CV of officers and successful ratings Visa employment contracts to be
prepared and handed over to the HR for the preparation of visa documents.

Upon receipt of completed visa documents from HR the same to be sent to the relevant
recruiting agent along with seafarer contract for seafarer acceptance and signature.

Upon endorsement of visa and date of availability of crew member the documents are to be
handed to the logistic coordinator for the booking of flights.

Flights to be booked and agents in Bahrain and or in Rastanura to be advised for crew sign on on
relevant vessels.
