These instructions refer to a new electronic with 32 bit machine, with colored graphic display and keyboard.
FIRMWARE DOWNLOAD
Download the latest Firmware version from the website at the following link:
http://ricambi.fas.it/firmware/login.aspx
(Click on Login even without the credentials).
Select the desired machine model and select the desired FW version in order to download the file.
Extract the “.fas” file from the zipped folder and transfer it to a USB pen-drive and leave the file in the root
directory.
Note: in the USB pen drive can be present more Firmware for different boards at the same time (i.e. 082670
mainboard e 082638 powerboard), but NOT for the same electrical board (Es. FW for FAST GCD and for FASTER
GCD are both compatible with 082670 mainboard, so is not possible to put them inside the same USB pen
drive).
Insert a USB pen drive into the single USB port in the main board 082670, after that enter in programming
mode by the button 1 on the rear of the main door of the vending machine and type:
The machine starts updating of the FW and the display shows the message “Mainboard programming please
wait” with a programming progress cursor.
At the end of the updating, the display shows “memory cleared” message, so press button PB1 in the middle
of the main board; the machine will come back in operation and will display “Open door” message.
Check please the success Firmware uploading by the command 85.
For importing the Cloning file, previously saved, insert the USB pen drive, containing the cloning file, into the
port of the main board.
Enter in programming mode by the button number 1 on the rear part of the main door of the vending
machine (or by the PB1 button in the middle of main board for YOUNG GCD and FAST GCD) and type:
Command 80 > 1. Machine cloning > 2. – Reading a file from USB pen drive
080670xx_mFast_1441_V004_L1.fas 080670xx.fas
Transfer the file from your PC to a USB pen drive and, with a switched off machine, insert it into the proper
USB port on the main board 082670. Switch on the vending machine and wait for at least a minute until the
display shows “memory cleared” message; press therefore the PB1 button in the middle of the main board and
the machine will be ready to use showing at the display the message “Open door”.
Note: this operation is necessary as the main board 082670 is compatible with more models of vending
machines, and so if it is bought as a spare part, is not possible knowing where it will be installed.
This operation is not instead required for the power boards 082638 and 082637, since they have the correct
firmware version already loaded, as purchased as a spare part.
