I have assignment on 10th class general science but 9th books is general science
first part 10th general science is second part I will comment on both general
science books.

1. The history and nature of science:

The history and nature of science is tow important things but as student of 10 th
and 9th class needs to study some advance things in science.

The study of history and nature should include in earlier classes such as 8 th and
9th.

2. Chemistry and life

Chemistry and life are good topics in this chapter the students can understand
composition of elements and how chemistry is support life in the form of
proteins, carbohydrates and other types of elements which are need for life.

3. Health, disease and prevention

This chapter is very beneficial for personal hygiene of human beings but there is
some needs to add the emerging disease and its prevention’s such coved 19 and
lumped skin.

4. Population and environment

The increasing population is most significant issue among the other issues
which are facing the earth but there are some needs in the chapter for
controlling the population such as family plaining, resources management in
huge population and some other important topics.

5. Energy resources

The authors discussed many types of energies in text book but I think the topic
should include in earlier classes.
We already know some types of electricity source which are we use in daily life
like hydropower, fuel based and solar energy.

6. Electricity in daily life

The topics which are discussed in this chapter like electron, proton, neutron,
potential energy and kinetic energy.

The mentioned topics is already added to curriculum of 8 th class science I think

there is no need for these mentioned topics.

Instead of this chapter I will add physical education in response of disease

prevention.

7. Chemical reaction and its application.

In this chapter the author added chemical bonds like covalent, ionic and
coordinate chemical bond and how they are braking.

The above topics is already added to 8th class science I will add instead of these
topics the world Major issues like climate change, global warming and acid,
how to reduce these issues.

8. Biotechnology.

As arts student they don’t need to study this chapter.

9. Environmental problems and its management.

This chapter consists of such topics like global warming, climate change, acid
rain and desertification their need of some modification like biodiversity
conservation and agro fertilizer.

Biodiversity is decreasing day by day extinction occurred in some spices and

some is threatened because of our hunter behavior.

10.Science, technology and development:

Because of the technology we are now living in a global village, it would be
good for the generation to understand this technology. But in the curriculum is
some needs of internet technologies and their uses.
